Recce Gear ripoff Internet
I'm writing from Italy, back in 1st december 2004 I placed an order on the internet with Recce Gear for a couple of military pouches. I paid him $100.00 with PayPal, but since then I have never received anything. I sent him several other e-mails, he only replied once (after months) saying that he had been busy and had problem with his e-mail, but assured me that he would have sent the pouches asap. But again NOTHING. I have not heard from him again (since 23 march 2005). after march I have sent anothe 5 emails but with no reply. Can you help at all??? thanks Maurice BariItaly

I also have been ordering from yesmoke.ch (com.) for three years and never had a problem. I don't really care what the reason is I didn't receive my order from 11/04/2004. If yesmoke.ch has legal issues either with Phillip Morris or A.T.F. then let their attorney's handle it. In the meantime I'm concerned about their guaranteed promise of a refund that they continue to ignore. The A.T.F. confiscated 150,000 cartons of cigarettes at JFK (mine included) as contraband, again their problem not mine. It's up to them to make good on their promise of a refund. In the meantime, I'd be interested in adding my name to a class action suit, not that I would expect to get my refund but at the least it would cost them millions to defend. I just don't understand how they could expect to restore the confidence of the American consumer by not making good on their promise. My story is like others I've read here~ and I'm furious! I thought I was smarter than to fall for a scam such as Jevene's. I, too ordered the Free Sample for $5.95. Got it. Paid for it. And thought what junk- and I should have known better. Next thing I know, I've been charged $57.90 by this company. I NEVER ordered anything but the Free Sample. I called twice and left messages. I emailed 3 times, and got no response. Yesterday, I finally talked with a live person who assured me that I HAD in fact signed up as a member- and would be receiving this product every month. I was just blown away! They took the $$ from my Paypal acct. I've never rec'd anything but the sample. The charming little nitwit on the phone told me that it had been shipped on Jan. 31~ so I WOULD get it soon. I intend to refuse it. She told me I should have read the fine print!! I recently placed an order with this company for which I was immediately billed the full price plus shipping. I waited over 10 days for my item to arrive and finally contacted them through their comment link on their website. A customer service rep emailed me back to inform me that my order had been placed on backorder status. Most reputable online company's will inform you that an item you are ordering is not instock BEFORE they bill your credit card but not this one. When I expressed displeasure I was told thAt I could cancel the order if I chose which I did. I received another email telling me that they would refund the purchase price minus the shipping charges which was not refundable. How can their be a shipping charge if the item is not in stock. I contacted them again demanding a FULL refund and was told this time that they had in fact shipped my item but to the wrong address and they would still not refund the shipping charges. Am I wrong? Is it unreasonable for me to expect a full refund for something I never received? Why should I have to pay a surcharge for their incompetance!!!! Don't do business with these idiots! WATCHEZ.COM Unbelievable RIPOFF Internet
Well it is sad to see that I am not the only one who fell for this scam of WATCHEZ.COM I ordered a replica bag, they charged my credit card immediately but it took another 3-4 weeks for me to get my bag. The excuse was that they only ship every 2 weeks. Anyway I get the package and open the box and surprise, surprise there is a totally different order in it. So I went to the website and tried to contact them which is only possible through a totally weird ticketing system. Or an online chat, but most of the times no one is available anyway. It is like winning the lottery. So after a million, worthless e-mails with ANDY (andy@watchez.com) I am being referred to this customer service manager Julie (julie@watchez.com). Seems that there are only 2 people working there, actually 3 including the online person. Well being referred to Julie didn't make it better. So watchez.com offered me their typical deal, which I think is incredible bold. Buy another bag, you get 50% off and with that order we will send you your original bag that you ordered. I was stunned because I had already received a coupon after they charged my credit card for 50% off of my next order. So I was thinking where is the incentive for me?? I have to spend more money not knowing if they are even able to deliver correctly. So I told them I wouldn't place another order. So they offered me to pay only 30$ for the sipping and I could keep the wrong bag. Well, I did it (dumb as I was believing in the good in people and thinking this might all be just a mistake), paid the $30 and since then another 3 weeks have gone buy and I have not received any tracking information, nothing. I have sent them several e-mails and I always get the excuse that there has been a delay in the shipment that goes out every 2 weeks. Seriously, after coming to this website and seeing all these people that got ripped off I am totally shocked. Watchez.com presents itself so professionally on the internet but this is one big scam machine. Analyzing other people's experiences I can see that they work with the same schematics. This is in my opinion a well organized and planned rip off and I would caution anyone who would want to order from watchez.com. You might be lucky but honestly even the bag that they have sent me (which was the wrong order) doesn't even have the quality that they say it has, not even close. Luckily being connected to some important people in that area I will take further steps in regards to this matter because I think watchez.com deliberately uses the internet and the option of being abroad and unreachable to rip off people. Companies like this need to shut down and I will do my part to make this happen. I ordered several things for Christmas and only recvd one item, when calling them, all they would say is oh we ran out of those, I asked why did you not send me an email about running out of them, rep said sorry about that, we must have forgotten...so now, someone is less one Christmas gift and no one there seems to care. There was no offer of back ordering, nothing at all. I was furious with the way that rep handled this situation. After reading monica's posting, i had to reply. I also previously ordered a bag from dottimart and received it, but almost three months ago i ordered another bag and have yet to receive it from Jim Isley, aka Dottimart.com. Now when I call him, he hangs up on me. I have never given him a reason to hang up on me. one month ago I finally asked him for a refund and he said I would receive it in three days. I am still waiting. Dottimart (Jim Isley) does not answer e-mail and hangs up on me when I tell him who is calling. I want to warn everybody, be careful with Dottimart.com. I just received a pair of Size 8 Air Force One sneakers that I paid $85 for plus $15 for shipping from ShowMeDaKicks.com. They are too big on someone who takes a Size 10. Never once when I was ordering did I read that these were not authentic shoes - they're knock-offs (they're all man-made materials) and the site never directed me to the information page when I was ordering. This is information one sees only when one goes to the Shipping and Returns page. That page also says that they don't give refunds. The shoes were mailed from China. I purchased a proffessional makeup box appoximatly 9 months ago. On first opening the box the liner wasn't aligned and the partitions would not fit or stay in place. I kept the box as it is really just used a storage box. I don't wear my makeup very often so don't handle the container more than once a month. I don't travel with this box. It has never left my house. A few days ago I picked up the case and one of the brackets holding the handle broke off. I moved the handle to get a better look and the entire handle snapped off. It was quite a surprise as this was supposed to be a proffesional makeup case. Has I been in transit this would have been quite a challenge. I called the company explained how little the box had been used and was met with the answer that since it was considered luggage it would not have any type of warranty past 30 days from purchase. I Placed an order with stylerunway.com on December 4,2007. They Charged my bank account on December 9th and then again on the 10th. I have contacted them via phone six times. Every time I call I never get to speak with someone, so I have left a message every time. I then went on the site and also sent an email which they state they will respond within 48 hours. They never responded to my email either. Twice I went to the site to receive online help and waited an hour each time and no one responded. I did receive the merchandise I ordered, but there was no invoice in with my order and the shipping address was from China so I had no way of contacting them via mail. I purchased and dress for my husbands military ball. Later we found out that he had 24 hr. duty and we could not attend. I called the owner and explained the situation and she told me that she could not help me. Later that day my husband called her, she hung up on my husband and he tried calling her back two or three other times and she still would not help us. She has been turned into the BBB and has lied to them about this hole situation. I will go to the media if I have to. I will not stop right here. The BBB did not do anything. They closed my case as of Jan.4th. All the woman had to do was give me my money back. She claimed that she had a no return policy, but there was nothing that I seen in the store. Brookstone Good Luck With Your Refund! Nationwide
My wife ordered a $250.00 digital steam press from Brookstone in November by mistake (we wanted the pants press). As soon as she realized her mistake, she contacted Brookstone who advised her it was no problem, simply refuse UPS delivery and they will ship it back. So we refused delivery, it made it back to the manufacturer in 2 days and we waited for our AMEX card to be credited. This was at the end of November. By December 19, we still did not have a refund. We contacted Brookstone twice by phone to inquire about the refund. On the last call to them, less than a week before Christmas, the customer service rep actually had the gall to tell us they were too busy and that we would have to wait until after Christmas to get a refund. I could not believe what I was hearing. I told the guy it takes 2 minutes to process a refund and that they had no problems finding time to charge my card the minute it was shipped. Further, if I returned it to a store location, would they not credit me right then and there? I was furious and demanded to speak to a manager. The manager, good ole' Travis, stated he would take care of it. Well, obviously Travis is not very good at his job either, because it is now almost a week after Christmas, but they must still be too busy drinking left over egg nog to take care of that little matter of my $250.00 plus tax. I sent two emails and all I got back was a we are investigating your complaint email. I filed a dispute with AMEX and hope to have this resolved soon, but I will NEVER buy another item from this company again. Unlike some other folks that had issues when they said packages were opened, etc., this box never entered my house and was returned within 2 days of shipping with UPS tracking confirmation. Brookstone is just another example of poor customer service, trying to screw the little guy out of a few bucks with their usually over-priced merchandise. Nice to know they have so many extra customers that they can afford to discard those of us that have purchased from them in the past. But never again. I am through with them and you should be too. I had an account with Fingerhut in 2002. I had kept paying on the bill and it went into collections, I paid off the balance of $250. I was told this would take it out of collections and it never did. I look at my credit report and I have an account thru Jefferson(Fingerhut Collection) that is paid in full. I also have a balance with Fingerhut for $250 still on my credit report. I was told that Fingerhut was bought out and that the new Fingerhut was only given rights to the name Fingerhut. I am to contact compucredit with a PO Box or fax, I wrote to them and they never returned my mail. I have had this on my credit for years now and I have no way to get it off. It is amazing that I found this sight and the complaints against Norther Minerals. I did not order off ebay but directly from the website. Having ordered Oct.16, 2005, it took over 3 weeks to receive the order. I spoke to Anna several times and she told me it had been shipped but I never received it. Finally Michelle called me and told me she had had emergency surgery and things got backed up; I was understanding. The order was finally received and the Beige Silk Foundation was missing. I immediately called and spoke to Michelle and she said her husband had filled the order and must have made a mistake and that she herself would personally make sure it was shipped immediately. It is now July 1, 2006 and I have yet to receive it. I have emailed many times and called more. The emails were never responded to and most of the time I had to leave messages which was never returned. The times I did reach a person; most of the time it was either Anna or Michelle, I was put on hold to check and no one ever came back or I was hung up on. What I received was great makeup but I had to get my foundation from another source. To date I have never received a response. I did request either the makeup or my money back but received niether. I too, like a recent customer have been a victim of what appears to be fraud. I ordered a louis vuttion bag from citibags on line under the name of Nathan Traders, I received confirmation that my order would arrive promptly in 5-7 days. Well, this is day 12 and I have not received the merchandise. I too, have paid for the purchase and funds have been deducted from my account. I have e-mailed the customer service department but have not had a response to date. What a rip off! I will pursue legal action to retrive my funds. I order some cute see thru hills for a party on 04/05/06 and my credit card was charged and money was deducted that same day. I got a confirmation letter saying my order was shipped and i will be reciveing my order with in 2-3 weeks I also got a confirmation on the internet for the post office for track and confirm and i was given a tracking number. Today is 06/28/06 and I am still waiting for my order to be shipped to me i have been calling their 1 866-893-1682 number and it says to call between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. I call everyday to see if i can get someone at costomer service and i still get no anserw the machine says mail box is full call again later.I also have sent e-mails to their website to try to get a response. No luck at all. Then I sent a letter to the adress on the web site with a copy of my order confirmation, Track and confirm with the tracking number from the post office. I still have not recieved a response i even faxed the same letter and confirmation attached to them i still have not recieved my order or a response.
