Truth Finder Inaccurate information and a rip-off Internet
Don't waste your money on this rip-off.  The low initial cost in only to hook you into paying $19.95 each for additional reposrts.  The initial information in mostly useless and if you want detail on criminal records or finacial records then you will have to pay the additional 20 bucks for each new report.  Even some of the initial information was totally inaccurate.  I looked up my sister who is a 64 yr. old white female living in Tucson, Arizona and under her exact address and birthdate and correct relatives it showed a picture of black woman with a totally different background and education.  When I called to complain I was simply told that I signed the disclaimer that noted that not all information is 100% accurate!  Stay away from this website!

Truth Finder People Search This Company uses Inaccurate and Fraudulent Information to Slander People Houston Texas
Do not sign up with these charlatans. I was curious several months ago and decided to sign up for a trial subscription. I started researching my families and friends names and I also researched my own name. Well, these charlatans (which is very nice, compared to what I'd really like to call them) had nothing but false, misleading and inaccurate information on their database regarding every person that I looked up, including myself. They must have combined me with at least 100 other persons, with the same name, along with their addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, criminal backgrounds and even a photo that wasn't mine.My son (who died overseas in the Marines) and my daughters (a college student) names were also in this database and the information was completely inaccurate. My young daughter's photo was plastered on the page. Needless to say, I was outraged. Well, after making repeated attempts to delete our information, with no success, I reached out to their customer service team to have the information deleted and this has never been done.  I've sent them emails and I've spoken to their customer service team by phone and I was assured that all of our information would be removed.I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB, along with the State Attorney Generals Office about this site, because they are refusing to remove my families information from their database.DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

Truth Finder First, credit card rejected, then disconnected. I tried this about 6 months ago and the second you request the one time only choice they start the rejections, First they reject the credit card and then they disconnect you from website. Of course you have paid then and you can't get back on to recover your monies. No idea Internet
Several months ago I attempted to get a report from these people.  All went well until I requested the week access. My credit card was rejected, and then they disconnected the program.  I attempted to go back in, but was refused access because my e-mail address was in use.  Of course, I had paid them and have no way of recovereding my fee. They did the exact same procedure when I request the finder this time.

truthfinder.com Truth Finder deceptive advertising; sneaky billing; crappy product; evasive customer relations unknown (San Diego, CA ??) Internet
One evening last fall, I saw an ad that indicated an advanced search of personal information to the effect of you'll never believe what is in your public records.  I followed the teaser links that indicated searching / processing / compiling of my report until it indicated that I would have to pay $16.71 for one month of unlimited searches.  The report was crap & not near as exhaustive or complete as I was led to believe it would be.  Being as I had already paid, I ran a couple of other names of past friends to test it...  yeah, they were equally crappy & incomplete, too.  Today I noticed a $16.71 charge for truth finders on my card and traced it back to 7 months before & found their phone number on one of my statements.  When I called & complained, I was guided on the computer to their sign-in / registration page which indicated a monthly subscription that I would have to call to cancel.  I don't recall seeing such a thing before & I would not have allowed such a charge... I turn away & refuse such services for what they are - total rip-offs.  The phone representative said she would immediately cancel my subscription... when I asked about the rest of my payments, stating that I considered the whole service a rip-off & a product of deceptive advertising, she apologized and said that she would refund my most recent payment.  When I asked about the rest of the payments beyond my first one she said that she would speak to the manager.  She came back to say that she could only refund payments back to Mar 2016 (3 payments).  I persisted saying that there was a total of $100 at stake & asked to speak to the manager, myself.  Again I was put on hold, then told that the manager was unavailable - but she promised me that he would return my call & asked for my home phone number.  So two (2) promises were made: 1) a refund of 3 months of payments equaling $50.13; and 2) a personal phone call from the manager to discuss my grievances & demand for a complete refund (beyond the initial payment of $16.71, which I considered my own mistake).  I don't expect any of it to materialize except for the cancellation of the subscription & discontinued billing of my credit card.  Still, learn from my mistake and don't waste your time & money on this fraudulently deceptive & poor excuse for service.

people-finder.com People-Finder Cowardly Thieves Internet
Cowardly Thieves who rig up internet schemes to steal your money and your private information make me sick! In my efforts to quickly locate a relative in another state, I came across an internet site that looked pretty authentic (VeriSign and Better Business Bureau symbols in place). Although I was not able to locate this site in my search with the BBB, I went ahead and ordered a people-finder report. After all, it was only $2.95. To make a long story short, I divulged my personal information, including my credit card information, but never received the report that I was suppose to receive instantly. Now, the thief has my credit card number complete with the security code! I even emailed them, but guess what.........? I checked my credit card statement, which showed the following information for the company making the transaction: PeopleFinder.com By PL (805) 931-0904 CA & (805) 929-4833. When I checked the numbers in the Reverse Phone Lookup, both numbers were unpublished or unavailable numbers in Nipomo, CA. I haven't called them as yet, but I suspect the numbers are either fictitious, or they belong to someone other than this company. The name of this rip-off site is very similar to another site, which I believe is an authentic one. At least the other site gives you contact information other than an email address. Lesson learned: Don't give out your private information to websites before checking them out thoroughly, and especially if they don't give you an address and phone number. I later realized that the IP address was actually my IP address, I tried a few e-mail addresses and it kept on coming up the same number. The I went to myipadddress.com and the same # came up. As for the name, all they do is take out the nubmers from the address, i.e. let us say your email address is johndoe1989@gmail.com, the will take out the 1989 and give you the name as johndoe. I hope this helps you.

Grant Finder debit card transaction attempt. Internet
Received a pre-authorization on my debit account for $77.82. I'm not sure what the company does or is. It is called Grant Finder on my pre-auth and the phone number listed with it is 877-817-9769. I have absolutely no idea how this company has received my debit card information but I've filed charges with my bank. I've called there number every chance I've had for the last 24 hours and they are ALWAYS closed. There is an automated message. My bank is unable to proceed with anything until the charge hard charges to my account. There goes $78 bucks I can't use for a few days. Kassandra grand island, NebraskaU.S.A. *EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back into your bank account that someone wrongfully takes it from you! EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back! HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO: Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E. According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days. If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges. Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent! DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get. And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state. Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth. If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

Adult Friend Finder Lack of Service Internet
What a joke their system is. There are many flaws with the program that I have been able to determine. First:- their system seems to be very slow and if you decide to become a member you will notice that this is one of the many complaints that members talk about. Second:- Their IM system, that is the system you use to chat to other members often doesn't work. Other members will want to chat to you or vice versa and your messages simply don't get through. It is a very hit & miss type of system, sometimes it will work most times it doesn't. I have complained about their IM system for over a year and there has been no change. Third:- their very popular member webcam system is a farce. Most members that are listed as being on cam ARE NOT, many are listed 3 - 4 or more times, of those that really are on cam many are in a PRIVATE session and not viewable or contactable. Many of the single women want you to go to a pay for view site which no matter how much I complain makes no difference to the AFF service department they are always there. Finally for this particular report don't bother reporting any problems to their so called service department. You WILL get an automated response but NOTHING ever seems to get done and no matter how much you fail to get what you paid for there is never any fair compensation. The only reason that you would join as a silver or higher member is so you can hide some of the problems that are always there, I know I was a silver member for a long time always in the vain hope that the system would improve ........ it didn't In essence this is a system that has been around for a LONG time with no real change. It has grown enormously and is making it's owners lot's of money I expect, the trouble is it seems as though it has more than reached it's limitations and is starting to tear apart at the seams and nothing seems to be happening to keep it viable. As is always the case this is simply my opinion and I offer it only as such and leave it up to any individual to determine how accurate I am. But if you are looking for this type of service look at ALL the other options first because I sure as heck am after using their system. CoSigner Finder FRAUD!! BEWARE!!! Baltimore Maryland
Please do not use this service!  Cosigner Finder is a Fraud!  I paid for a service to get a cosigner for a loan, in which they said they'd email me a cosigner.  The link that was sent directed me to their main website: www.cosignerfinder.com, then it had me re-register.  Once I was in, there was no information.  I tried to call and email them, but no response. By day three, I was finally able to open the link, and all the names that were given to me were people who were also looking for a cosigner.  Not one person was an actual cosigner.  All the names on the list and myself have now realized that we all are the same people looking for a cosigner.  Please do not use this service.  This company is a scam!

Adult Friend Finder Adult Friend Finder is complete BULLSH*T Internet
Ok well once again I found myself single and this time in what seemed to be an incredibly long slump. Lonely and bored at this point I wasnt looking for Mrs. Right anymore, just maybe a friend with a little something extra if you catch my drift. I tried all my local establishments for action. Bars, clubs, the gym, malls, bookstores, tanning salons, resturants and people I havent spoke to in a dogs age...nothing. Clearing some junk emails from my desktop I noticed more then one ad for Adult Friend Finder. Honestly, I didnt do much thinking...I figured, hell..maybe there are a few people out there just looking for fun, and if I find someone in my area that I wants to have fun and I can actually hold a conversation with, all the better. For 20 or so bucks for the month, f*ck it...sign me up. I am in no way a model, but I do take care of myself, I exercise everyday, eat right for the most part, take pride in having a strong looking physique. My teeth are white, Im not covered in tattoos or anything out of the ordinary. I think on a scale of 1-10, Im probably about a 7 when I go out. So of course I posted my best pics. Yes you will find PLENTY of guys who just have pics of their penis out there, or girls with no face shots...plenty of porn type pics but there are also plenty of profiles of some really pretty girls who are single, and gave this a shot too. I made sure to write a very well rounded profile, I have more tact then to have a naked picture of myself, I didnt look corny or creepy. Just a very young looking 32 year old guy, 1 pic with a tank top, and 2 other pics in casual dresswear. I wrote something along the lines of I'm just trying this out, if your married, or not married I dont care. I can be here for a discreet affair, or also meet a cool girl that just wants to be friends and take it from there, I am not into groups, Im not bi or the least bit curious, just a straight guy for a straight girl..Im not here for drama Immediately I was BOMBARDED with emails from the service saying that ATLEAST 35 girls were a match for me, and get this...they ALL lived in my town!!! I'm thinking to myself, where the F*CK does THAT girl live around here?? Ok, so whatever I spend a few hrs...each day for like 2 weeks.....yeah a FEW hrs, for EACH DAY for 2 WEEKS...saying hello and nice profile and pics, how are you etc etc.....I found that for the initial money I paid, basically all it allowed me to do is view other peoples profiles. They couldnt respond to me at all and I was VERY limited to the people I could view. So bam, again I give another 10 bux to upgrade to the Gold status membership. Now, everyone can see me, I can see everyone, I can chat, send emails, get emails, flirt etc etc......so I try again....I tried the nice and innocent emails, to the flat out I'd love to blank you which generally went to the 50 yr old married milfs. I NEVER got a reply, I NEVER so much as even had my profile viewed by anyone. With the exception of one sole member that I can see atleast viewed my profile...I have had absolutley no interaction with another human being on the website. And again, Im freaking out...man am I that ugly?...and like I said, I KNOW Im no model...but geez...I do ok, Im not hideous or anything, and Ive always managed to date women that were probably slightly out of my league...I guess I have a good personality. So I start paying more attention to whats going on, and do another account, this time I just did the free trial, and said I was from another town and state etc.......dont ya know that the 35 smokin hot girls that live in a small town in NJ, moved to a small town right outside LA? LOL...this site is a friggin scam. I believe that some of the people on there are real, there are def live chat rooms, but its totally lame. Its nothing more then the AOL chat rooms...I think a few people got daring and took naked photos of themselves...and hey, maybe a few lucky guys and gals met up and had themselves a good time...but from what Ive seen and what Ive heard...its mostly guys on the rebound that got reeled in from those 35 hotties that were dying to meet them now! .......Its bullsh*t, think it through and save your money. If thats really what your looking for...hit the bars on a weekday when its a little more quiet and there may be a cougar or to willing to give you her attention. If you are looking for a legit dating service, try match or singlesnet and take it from there....there is absolutley nothing valid about adult friend finder.com and whats worse is that half the reviews written about it on the net are so fake sounding its insulting to anyones intelligence. It boasts on how great it works......as far as I know its not endorsed by anything or anyone worth while...i.e. Howard Stern, Playboy, etc......its just another run of the mill porn site that got me for 30 bucks.......now back to my local gym to see if I can find ATLEAST ONE of those 35 girls that were intrested in me. Email Finder ,emailfinder.com Email Finder is a ripoff! Internet, Internet
I've just signed up for emailfinder.com although they said I had a 7-day free trial, they instantly charged my Paypal account for $29.95 for a background report I'd never ordered.  Once I viewed the so-call report, it wasn't the person I was searching for.  When I contacted them via phone to ask for a refund since it's suppose to be a free trial...they refuse.  So I contact paypal with a dispute which they are investigating as we speak.  They claim you're getting a free 7 day trial but neglect to say, we're also adding background report to your order so they can charge almost $30 for a lot of wrong information.  If I have to contact FTC, BBB or whoever, they will give me money back.  There's a lot of scams on the net but atleast most of them will refund you, if not satisfied. They are crooks and need to be stop!

Adult Friend Finder Fake profiles manged and operated by Adult Friend Finder , Internet
I have been a member of Adult Friend Finder for over 7 years.  I have recently come across a problem that has forced me to delete my profile and move on. This should serve as a warning to other that try and use this site.  I let my account subscription lapse recently. Adult Friend Finder uses the following tactics to lure you back to paying a subscription:  They move your profile to the front of the list so that you get more profile views. You'll also get more flirts, hot lists and emails. This is an unethical tactic.  Most users know there are a lot of fake profiles on this site.  Did you know there are fake profiles managed and operated by Adult Friend Finder themselves? Apparently there are. There are lots of them. A day after quitting my subscription, I received no less than 3 emails from fake profiles. These blatantly operated by AFF to give these profiles the appearance of legitimacy. This is a tactic devised to bait a user to renewing a subscription.  I have been on here long enough to know what profiles are fake and which ones are not. The fake ones used were so good that you couldn't tell if it was fake until it was used in the way that it was.  Besides this issue there are number of other tactics that AFF uses that users should be aware of.  AFF does little if anything to reduce fake profiles or remove them when they appear.  Men out number women  11 to 1 on average on this site.  Making your selection if you are man very limited and difficult.  Your pictures aren't safe on AFF and they will be taken to be sold to 3rd parties. Once your pictures are on the internet, they are everywhere.  AFF will set your setting for auto renew back to renew about 48 hours before your subscription expires. This is a very bad business practice if not illegal.  You must go and check your account subscription status the day before it renews to make sure that button is set to off.  When renewing subscriptions your browser will try and select the year long subscription of $149.99 instead of the 30 day period for $ 29.99   This is built in trick to get more money out of you.  AFF uses a myriad of fake pictures and profiles and advertisements of girls that don't exist to lure new users.  Adult Friend Finder is a very bad company and should be shut down. There are other sites out there like plentyoffish.com which are free and not as bad.
