Remington College Garland Texas campus Stay away from Remington College in Garland they rip you off Garland Texas

 I worked at the Remington College Garland campus for 5 years and it was an eye opener. If someone tries to tell you that negative posts here are by disgruntled students or former employees more than likely they are recruiters that work at Remington trying to get gullible people to sign up for the school. Except for Culinary, the school was filthy, it took an act of Congress to get them to pay for basic cleaning supplies. I had MORE than one instructor tell me that if they gave a student a failing grade they were called into the office & yelled at, and were basically told they had better give the students passing grades. You can tell alot about an organization by the way they treat their employees.

Remington treated their employees like crap! There was no respect given no matter how hard you worked unless you were a friend to the President Mr. Walls. Mr. Walls is a total jerk, who didn't like anyone who had a backbone or ethics. He clearly thought he was so much better than the people who went to school there. I saw his secretary at the movies one night & spoke to her for several mintues and the next thing I know one of my former co workers called & told me that they were called into his office & were told that hfi they spoke to me again and he found out that they would be fired! These were good people who worked hard & did their best to help the kids and to be threatened in such a way was ubsurd!!I cannot tell you how many times I spoke to students who believed that they were going to have a career after they graduated from Remington. Their so called career department would post the same jobs that you could get yourself off Craigslist! If they did find you a job, it was an entry level position that paid so poorly that by the time you paid on your student loans you could make the same amount of money working in fast food. If you want to get a career, go to a good school. The Dxxxxx Cxxxxx Cxxxxxxxx Cxxxxxx  (((REEDACTED))) will give you a REAL education for 1/4 of what you pay at Remington College. If you know anyone who is thinking about a trade school....tell them to read this....and then run like hell!
