Remodel America Broken promises Kennesaw Georgia

Remodel America came to our house almost two years ago and sold us on having our roof re-surfaced. It seemed to be a fairly good deal and the need was there so we took the bait. Upon completion of the work we noticed that the ridge cap that was supposed to be on the roof wasn't and we brought it to the attention of the workers, non of whom spoke any real English. Finally, the work was completed as it was supposed to be after a lot of back and forth between us and several different members of the company.

We thought it was a nightmare to go through but was happy it was finally over. We expected to get the warranty in the mail no more than six weeks afterwards and still have not received it to this day. We financed payment through their finance company they team up with because we were prepared to pay the balance in full after receiving the warranty on the work and material used through the company.

When I called the company to inquire the people I spoke with all seemed very surprised and assured me that they would get it taken care of and they would follow up with me. I have talked with the GM Derrick, Jerry Ops mgr, and several other members of their staff on numerous occasions. Every one of these people assured me that they had taken care of it and I would be receiveing the warranty in the mail.

Finally, I called and tried to speak to the owner Dan and was told that there's no way to talk to him unless I just happened to catch him there. I asked was there a message I could leave or an email I could have and was told no, unbelievable! Of course, this person asked what was going on and I explained to them and they assured me they would look into immediately and get back with me the next day and I've yet to hear from anyone, this conversation was over two weeks ago.

I'm now stuck with a $3,000+ roof that has no warranty and am forced to pay finance charges on it. I refuse to pay the balance until I receive the warranty I was promised and I don't feel like I should have to pay any interest on something that I was and still am fully prepared to pay off.
