At some point I guess I should stop being surprised about what I find out about our elected officials – especially those TRYING to get elected, like Rena G. Hughes in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Family Court judge, Eighth Judicial District Court. People, you HAVE TO know about her and her past and her poor decisions. REALLY poor decisions!! And this woman wants to be a Family Court judge!!! REALLY???!!! First of all, there's her FAMILY decisions, as in her marriage. She decided to marry a guy who is carrying two bankruptcies in his baggage as well as several ex wives. This is a judge, mind you, not some starry-eyed, gullible woman who doesn't have a clue (come to think of it, may be she is JUST THAT). Check it out yourselves: Hughes's husband's name is Eugene J. Venezia Sr. ... Bankruptcy 1) 6/1/1995 (attorney Frank Sorrentino) – Bankruptcy 2) 3/31/2010 (attorney Anthony Deluca). And this is a guy who's already been married a couple of times. I know, right? Rena Hughes probably wants to get elected as a Family Court judge just so she can manage her husband's past wives and family!!!

It's time all politicians come clean. Why do I have to find this kind of stuff on a person running for public office from a website like this? Why is the regular media not writing about this? When you place yourself into the public domain by registering to run for office, you've got to expect some scrutiny. And these little gems written about in this story are key points and totally appropriate points to raise for someone who is running for public office for family court judge. They go to her ability to make sound decisions, good judgment. So it's up to every citizen now to make good deccsioins and have judgment and not vote this woman into office. Please do your part and ensure this woman does not receive your vote. Keep her out of the control of other peoples lves. We need someone sitting on the bench with sound judgment.
