Reno Animal Shelter/Humane Society "No Kill Shelter" starves and abuses animals with prods even though they have plenty of food & resources. Reno, Nevada

I have donated money to the shelter and am sickened by their practices that have been brought to my attention by former employees.  Animals are starved and beaten with sticks that have prod nails in order to control fighting for food amongst the poor animals.  As well, they have a huge stockpile of animal food that they are too lazy and unwilling to give to the animals at this shelter.  Their claim is that they are a "no-kill" shelter, yet they are starving and torturing helpless animals.  Evidently they are too busy with their fund raising activities to properly care for the animals.  This is a widely known fact here; even though well intentioned people like myself continue to donate money.  I shall not donate to them again.
