I have had been a customer of Rent A Center for about 9 years. I have paid most of my rentals using the 90 days same as cash. I have never had any problems with customer service/manager until this last year. The manager was sent to a different store and they replaced him with a horrible manager that lacks customer service skills. After paying my washer and dryer set off (90 days) about a week later the washer breaks so we call up the manager basically says its my problem. As  you can imagine i feel ripped off because I find out that I dont even have the 1 year manufacture warranty because that expired 1 year from the date that RAC got it not 1 year from the date that I bought it. So i Google my washer come to find out its one of the worst washers ever made. I called the district manager James just as bad as his store manager basically my problem. I tried to find someone to look at it before having to buy a new one. Everyone i spoke to said it was not worth fixing and I only found 1 person who knew how to fix that type of washer. So i gave up my lost. I will never rent from them again, i had taken a fridge out but had them pick up right away after being treated rudely by the manager and district manager.

My mom is also buying the same washer currenly still over paying for it. She has had it for about 1 year then about 2 months ago her problems started. She calls the store to let them know that her washer has stopped spinning (same problem as I had)they pick it up and send it to service. She gets the washer back and not even a week later same problem she calls again they pick it up sent it to service. So the washer was returned on Tuesday and here we are Thursday and the washer has stopped working no water comes out now. So we call the store and I speak to the Manager I told her guess what my moms waher does not work again her response was you know what I will call my manager because the service center let me know that every time they take this washers nothing is wrong with it. She says I need to get someone to come to the house to look at it but I have to ask my manager. She continues by saying you know in my store the only problems i have had with these washers is with you and your moms no one else. I said obviously you haven't looked up this product we are not the only ones having problems with these washers. Why would you even say that to a customer obviuosly she requires additional customer service training. I asked her so are you saying my mom is making this up she said no shes probably over loading the washer. I explained that it didn't matter what size load it was it was not spinning. My mom seems to think that her washer was not even sent out for service because the same soap that she left in it was still in the washer.  

I hope someone looks into the customer service problem at this store. It's a shame that you have to loose customers that have been with the store longer then the manager.
