Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

As a former employee of this company I felt completely mistreated. I was in a sales position where they constantly expected me to get up and greet every single person that walks through the door, even current customers. (Trying to get me to be the only one who does payments when it's not my job) They've written me up for not "greeting" current customers effectively. They take advantage of you whenever they can, even if you're not feeling your best. They will make you feel bad for things that are out of your control such as illness or sudden events that affect you personally and emotionally. They have unrealistic expections when it comes to sales and will constantly be on your a*s about it. They LOVE a** kissers and they always expect you to be "high energy" for the 10-11 hours per day they schedule you for. Mandatory overtime is definitive. DO.NOT.WORK.FOR.THEM. Unless you are a s***-lickin' a** kisser like my ex co-worker who got my job after they fired me.

They did the right thing..

I really hope that this was some sort of joke, but I have a feeling it isn't.  So if that is the case then they did the absolutely right thing by firing your a*s.

You are in the Customer Service Industry and if you can't even be bothered to get up and greet a customer(who cares if they are new or you have seen them 1000 times before).  Who knows what else you are slacking off on.  If it bothers you that much to interact with a customer, then perhaps a new line of work would be in order.

Of course you always have the option of opening up your own business and making your own rules.
