Rent A Center 90 day cash out Canton Ohio
*UPDATE Employee: Question about the Serial Number
*UPDATE Employee: Paid out service
I bought a X-box 360 on a 90 day cash out. It broke after 3 months. Took it back . They sent it out to be repaired, got it back. It broke again. Because it was paid for was told to call Microsoft. Microsoft would not help cause that was not the box that i bought. The box is still being repaired.

Question about the Serial Number

My name is Joshua George and I work for Rent A Center as a RAC Acceptance Sales Manager in the Ashley Furniture Homestore.
If Microsoft said that it wasn't the XBox that you bought, did you check the Serial Number on the XBox to the serial number on your copy of the paperwork? Every contract at RAC has the serial number printed on it and if these two numbers don't match, you need to contact the Store Manager where you bought it. Chances are, he's wondering where the hell a missing XBox is and you could be the solution and you could get your XBox back. Also, you'll want to check on how old the XBox is. Warranty is transferred to the customer after payout, but only if it's still within the time frame for the warranty to exist. If Microsoft only carries a 12 month warranty, but the XBox is 13 months old, then you wouldn't be covered by Microsoft anyway and would have to see the rebuttal above this one about the Benefits Plus program.

Paid out service

First question is did you sign up for the RAC Benefits program for only an extra $3 a week? If so when you paid out your merchandise did you continue to pay on the RAC Benefits? If so your xbox should have still been serviced at no cost to you. If you terminated your RAC Benefits it's no longer allowed to be serviced by RAC as the warranty if any is transferred to owner upon pay out. And if you never signed up for the benfits then as stated earlier it is no longer allowed to be serviced by RAC.
