Rent A Center me an my daughter have rented a refrigarator from them the hole inside does not have all the bars on the doors to hold all the stuff in the doors the bottom drawers are broke they were that way when we got it i have also rented a computer from them it freezes up all the time the batterie in it does not stay charged an i took it to them to fix it an they still did not they were real rude. Hello Cindy,

It is RAC's responsibility to maintain the service of the merchandise while you are paying on them (under normal wear & tear, and anything that may be RAC's fault). Did the manager say why they don't want to fix it? It only takes within 2-3 weeks to have appliance parts shipped in from the service center. If you are not happy with the refrigerator, ask the store for a different one. You might have to resign a different rental agreement if you go this route though & the price may be different depending on what fridge you select.

Another route you could do is go to the next closest RAC location & ask the new store to transfer your account from your original store. Not all RAC stores have bad customer service.

As for the computer, they should be able to order a new battery for you. In addition, it may help having your computer restored back to original factory default state. The store can do this for no charge.
