This company claims to report to the credit bureaus. They don't do anything but take your money. I have been paying them for nine months and I have seen nothing reported to the credit bureaus for my rental payments. I don't know how that is possible for them to report to the credit bureaus when they have never verified rent.? When I opened the account some one call to verify supposedly and never call again. this is a total scam don't buy into it.

RENTAL SCAM

AUTHOR: Heather - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 19, 2013

We were looking for a new place to live and found this listing on craigslist I thought it was too good to be true 800 per month everything included 2 bdrm?

the guy emailed me back saying he was working over seas for a company called MWH Global Engineeering and I would have to deal through rent reporters asking me to send 1 month rent and damage deposit and they would then send the keys...

This is all a scam and these people need to be found out and charged for what they are doing.

Rental Scam Beware

AUTHOR: Canadianeh - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 27, 2013

Rent Reporters are part of a rental scam to get your money without seeing the property!

I was looking for rental accomodation through Craig's list and came across an add that indicated a very nice condo for rent at an unbelievable price.

When I contacted the individual ( Michael Brisson ) he indicated he was in the UK on a contract for MWH Engineering and that the only way he could let us see the condo was for us to send the first month's rent and damage deposit to rent reporters and they would send the keys and lease to us in 3 days. If we didn't like the condo we could return the keys and lease and they would refund our money.

I checked with the MWH company and their global directory did not have his name.

I contacted rent reporters through their site and was contacted by a person regarding my concerns.

After a lengthy discussion ( I could not understand the person as they had a very heavy accent ) he gave me the name of a person who he said was the building manager of the property.

I contacted the name of the company that was on the door of the building and their maintenance man and neither had heard of the person I had been told was the building manager.

During all this time Michael and rent reporters constantly sent me emails urging me to send the money or lose the deal.

In the end I emaied Michael asking for the suite number and i have never heard from him or rent reporters since.

I would like to note that both the people I talked to were very hard to understand and had heavy accents and preached about being honest and trustworthy.

Do not enter into this type of deal and risk your money on something that sounds too good to be true.
