Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

They ask for deposits like normal agencies, they have you sign a lease, and Since they will rent to you. When we moved in we put down about a $3000.00 Deposit, when we moved out We cleaned, it looked really nice, we did have coffee stains on the carpet and was expecting at least $1500 - $2000 back - we only got $300 back, they claimed there was urine stains and poop everywhere, not true! - and fingerprints everywhere, not true, and made outrages and false non resonable claims in my opinion, the carpet was old, if it was cleaned prior to us moving in a stain on the botom could have been from a previous pet, I suggested lets do DNA testing, :) seriously, we have witnesses and I even spoke to one of their employers and he said the place looked great, and another employee of theirs said watch out if they can take your money they will, he asked not to be named, I asked for pictures, I asked for reciepts, I asked for invoices all I got was a letter saying if I keep calling and asking I will be sued for harrasment and they consider the case closed. I think a Judge should not them - I decide to take my time, not call them and go about this in another way, I say to you be aware. In fact they would not realease my check unless it I signed some document because they knew they where wrong, I do believe, but I needed our money. So I say to you I do not recommend them at all Renters or Owners - be aware of your rights and when you move ask for a walk through and take pictures, lots of them !!! They are rude at the office too, you walk in they ignore you. All they care about is money, not the renter or an owner, This is my opinion this is what happened. BE AWARE !!!! BE AWARE !!!

Rent Today Rips Off people. Clever and Sneaky.

I never yelled at anyone for 1 and 2 you totally ripped us off and know it, by the way we did take pictures also later on I found out it was your agency that should have took pictures not just me, while asking for so much money down and a pet deposit etc, and after a nice walk throught with one of your own employees I really felt we would get back most of our deposit not 5 percent of it back. Your business tactics are on the verge of a DRE complaint. I really felt ripped off and truly believe to this date it was the intention of Rent Today AKA West Coast Properties that knew it all along on the inside - I blame the Broker - The Employee was sincere and I really belived him when he said this is the cleanest move out I have ever seen. It just does not ad up. It may not be to late to go to small calims court anyways with witnesses and pictures etc, you may consider it closed but still some day some place you tatics will catch up to you and at some point the truth will set us all free. Your Company is a RIP OFF artist captilizing on the edge of a mountin cliff an someday you will trip up and get sued and the people will know.

We simply got Ripped off period and you know it.

I did take pictures and filed a complaint if I would have not done so I would have been out an additional $600.00 in which I had to file a complaint in order to be refunded some of our deposit back, in my opinion rent today is not a very professional company. Also if anyone walks into the office over there, it is very frustrating with all of those employees that do not even acknowledge a person presence??? We will be right with you would have been nice... Hello.... I have been at the counter for 15 -20 minutes hello, are we invisible here..?? Also where is the Integrity?? I had to fight for my money to be refunded when it was a slam dunk and obvious we took very good care of the place, and the false and misleading statements about dog urine etc.; with carpeting that was probably 5 years old, what were we going to do get urine samples and dna samples and prove it was not our dog yhea right. Yes our experience with your company was bad and I must say I know there are others out there as well, but due to the fact you allowed pets, you allow people with a BK and you ask for triple the normal deposit  people are grateful to have a roof over their head but it does not change the fact if you take that much money close to $3,000.00 deposit and keep 90 percent of it for a tenant that was only in there a year is sick and deserves to be on the fact that people need a home does not take away your Integrity as a broker and an agency to provide people with due diligence and integrity. You totally ripped us off and to say I did not take pictures and follow up is false, I e-mailed the broker all the pictures and the next door neighbor and an employee did a walk through with us. I just wish it would have been the better business bureau instead. Renters stay away from these con artists and this company!! Fight for your rights like we did and you may get your money back, we finally got $600.00 more back, but why did we have to fight why did Rent Today also known as West Coast Property Specialists Inc. Try to pull a fast one?? It is a numbers game with them and they are a rip off. Renter Be Aware -- !!

I'm sorry that you have had such an experience in dealing with our company.  We strive each and every day to provide quality customer service to both our tenants and owners and do everything we can to resolve each and every situation to the best of our ability. 

Sometimes, it is very difficult being stuck in the middle of an owner and an tenant.  Tenants normally want and owners do not want to give and we are left holding the blame for everything.  But, it's part of the business and there is nothing we can do about that. 

Please understand that we are careful to follow all tenant/landlord laws and guidelines as well as DRE regulations and Fair Housing...that is alwasy first and foremost.  When deciding on the condition and costs of damages in a property, that is sometimes subjective.  We often find tenants feel they don't owe anything and the owners have a different opinion and we have to hash out the differences fairly and hopefully out of court. 

In your situation, we made a decision and we feel it was fair and accurate.  If you didn't take photos or document your property, I'm sorry.  But, we did along with video tape, written documentation, hundreds of digital photos, and vendor invoices for carpet replacement and cleaning.  It is our job to document every step of the way, and we do! 

Because you were harrasing us and relentlessly calling our offices, screaming at our employees, and threatening lawsuits, etc. we decided to take a loss on your rent ready work and rebate you some money back.  You were very happy to accept that and consider the issue resolved.  We were perplexed when you called the very next day and demanded more money for your wife?  But, we do understand that times are tough and everyone's got to make a dollar no matter how they get it sometimes.

We do consider this case closed and we hope you do too.  We ask that you discontinue slandering us on-line as you stated, you are a real estate agent yourself and you should understand how the process works.  If the shoe was on the other foot and you had to account for the damage a tenant did to your owner I'm sure your actions would be very similar to ours. is an honest company with honest people working here.  We have had thousands upon thousands of tenants and owners over 10 years and our incidences of complaints are extremely low...less than a handful.  We are just regular people trying to employ people and help our community and do our part, that's all.  I hope you understand.
