Rental appear to be a respectable car hire company operating worldwide. Do not, repeat DO NOT, attempt to hire a car from this company, who sub-contract their operations through many other car hire firms. 

This is my experience. I booked to rent a car at Heathrow airport London, to return the car to the same location one month later. I was delayed at the airport by an hour and went to the car rental desk to contact the company via their sub-agents Hertz. Their desk was not open so I took the shuttle bus to the car pick point. By this it was nearly an hour and half before I was able to present my pre-paid booking voucher. 

My driving license was fine as identification was I didnt have with me the additional paper driving license.  I accepted that they couldn't give me the car there and then and I asked to arrange to pick up the car the next day. The Hertz representative waited over half an hour on the phone be could get through only to be told that no car would be provided at all as I had not picked the car up at the designated time, (i.e. over an hour or more late) 

Not only that but there would be no refund at all for a months pre-payment of the car rental plus the extra insurance cover I had taken out.

I could not believe what I was being told. The company just took the entire months car rental, plus insurance, refusing any sort of customer service, let alone refund. I was left at the airport with no car and having to make my own way to where I was going. 

Hertz tell me they have had lots of complaints about  When I asked why they deal with them, I didn't get a satisfactory answer. 

Interestingly Barclaycard fraud investigation department telephoned me the previous week asking me if the payment to rentalcars was suspicious. At the time I didn't realise that this company must have been flagged up for all teh wrong reasons. Barclaycard said they know about this company mostly because people complain when the car is brought back there are huge charges because it was not clean, or a tyre needed inflating. 

BEWARE of  I am hugely out of pocket AND without a car.
