I am a real estate loan agent that was in need of an appraisal in Glendale California. I found Ronald Stava at Res Appraisal on Yahoo. I ordered appraisal in writing and he received payment in full from my customer for such in advance.
Ron Stava made arrangements with my customer behind my back to release the appraisal directly to my competitor and not me. He kept this as a secret from me and lied to me with regards to the status of the appraisal in the meanwhile.
He is in violation of OREA standard appraisal guidelines by releasing this without my written approval. I demanded in writing and verbally that he not release it and he ignored my calls/emails. To this day I have not received the appraisal from him even though I am legally his customer and I am the one that ordered it. This is completely outrageous and unethical and a flagrent disregard for the law. I intend to file a complaint with OREA. Beware of this guy!
