Res-Com Environmental placed an advertisement for inspectors in the Philadelphia Inquirer several months ago. I contacted Res-Com and discovered that they were seeking sub-contractors to do field investigations and sampling of mold and water intrusion problems. I was told that I would have to take and pass a certification course through an organization known as AABIE. I paid Res-Com 290.00 for the AABIE program consisting of three cd discs. I studied the material and after approximetely two months, sucessfully passed the course.

Once I passed the exam, I was told to purchase a one million dollar liability insurance policy as well as forward two passport photo's for my I.D. card as well as my driver's license and social security card information. Res-Com also ran a criminal background check and I passed without any problem.

After all this was completed and I expected to do work for Res-Com, I was then informed that I had to take a fourth test consisting of two different exams as well as write two different essays, on building and mold inspection. Once the test was submitted, I was told by Res-Com, that I passed the essay portion but I failed the multiple choice portions on both tests. I took their test three times and according to them, failed each time! I asked to have each test returned to me in order to review the grading procedures that they used and to do my own evaluations.

My primary complaint is that I was never told of any other tests that I would be required to pass other than the AABIE Certification Course. If they had no intention of using my services, then why would they have had me buy an insurance policy, send them I.D, etc. I have purchased in the interim period approximetely two thousand dollars worth of test equipment that I was told that I would need to do their field work.

In closing, I feel that I have been lied to from the start! I have over fifteen years in the building construction trades and a college degree, which more qualifies me to be an inspector. AABIE and Res-Com are located in the same building and that itself, seems very questionable! I sincerely hope that Res-Com does not discriminate against people of color or of different beliefs and perhaps that is why they require a passport photo up front!

I am requesting a refund of 290.00, for the cost of my testing and I will have to absorb the loss of all my other expenses incurred. I entered into this relationship with the upmost trust in Res-Com and I feel that I was totally misled me and their hiring and advertising practices, should be seriously investigated by the proper authorities.

All Victims

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 01, 2006

I think it's great that you are all pursuing this. You may have seen in prior postings that I was on the front page of the Arizona Republic for bringing a California scammer to justice. Look, I am not a consumer advocate, I just don't like the crap that con artist pull on people. The information provided in these reports will be readily available to the authorities. I am not a victim so having dialogue with the authorities will not further the cause. There will be experienced investigators on this. I have found though that the authorities can be somewhat ambivalent about matters. I strongly suggest that you go to the Sacramento Bee and get a reporter on this. When this sort of light is shown on the perpetrators, more victims usually come out and the authorities feel that they need to do something because they are under a microscope.

These guys are idiots. When this sort of thing raises it's head the best thing to do is nothing. Stay low, don't bring attention to yourself. Nopethey had to get the last word in and keep on.

Today I will be spending time looking up the penal code both state and Federal. What they are alleged to have done took place across state lines. There is also 3 or more involved in a criminal enterprise, which brings up other issues.

If Ed will allow it, you may contact me at

There is a case on file with the DA as of yesterday

AUTHOR: Deanna - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2006

If this really is John from Arizona, I appreciate all the information you have supplied to the rest of us. It would be very helpful if you would call the DA in Sacramento and give them your story. I have already made copies of all the emails about RES-COM and AABIE on badbusiness.com and given them to the investigator on this case. If you are really John, you can call the district attorney's office and ask for the investigator on the Res-Com case. You can also leave your phone number if he is out in the field and he will call you back. The DA's office did not have a number for our case yet since we just finished talking the Investigator late last night along with 3 other victims and witnesses so he probably didn't have the time to get the case over to the DA's office when you checked yesterday. We finished up with the investigator on the case after 5:00pm. He also took statements from Jerry, Monique and myself. I have also informed the BBB in Sacramento of the latest information that we have retrieved and was told the new report on Res-Com would be posted as well as the new information given today in a few weeks. The attorney Generals office was also contacted and there is a form that you can fill out on line. I also sent more information to the investigator on line tonight that I found today. So, bear with us as this has been a lot of hard work delving deep into Res-Com's past that will take the investigator back to the 90s. We turned in all of our information including the discs and study material that Res-Com gives to the so called "future employees". There is some speculation that some of the information in the materials and discs have been plagiarized but we won't know that for sure until the investigation is done. If you want to join a membership that is well known and has been around for 30 years, you might want to join NACHI or ASHI. I spoke with the Director of one of these organizations today and found out a lot of information about Res-CON. Call them for yourself and find out what I found out if you're really interested. Call the DA's office and lodge your own complaint. Get involved. Call the BBB and give them your report too. Then file your complaint on line with the Attorney General's Office. The most important thing you can do though is to contact the DA's office in Sacramento. They are "ON THIS". I have been told I should know something in a couple of weeks. I will also be pursuing a class action suit with 6 other victims. Get involved if you want your money back. It's ok to post your complaint but that's not going to get you the results you want. Call the Sacramento DA's office and ask for the detective assigned to the Res-Com Case. They want to hear from everyone that has been taken by this group of scam artists. What they have done is a Federal Crime. SPEAK UP. Make your voices heard NOW.

BS

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2006

Look at the other entries here. You will understand what happened to you. By the way, I ran a public records search today and thee is no law suit out there as discribed in some of the confusing rebuttles. Perhaps they will feel inclined to provide a cause number but I doubt it.

File a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

I AM TRULY SORRY

AUTHOR: Monique - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2006

I am sorry Ed, Deanna Williams, and Gerald Goodwin. They are suing me so I have to come clean.

I was making a lot of things up when I posted these comments. I did this because my boyfriend told me Friday that he lost his job at rescom. I was furious. I did not mean to slander them like that. They were always fair with me. They gave my boyfriend his job back. So I will stop making things up about them.

Rescom even gave my good friends Jennifer Davis and Michelle Albright a position at their business even though they could not sell a starving man food.

The truth of the matter is that I was always crying and whining and making up excuses about how my ex-husband would steal my kids and I would leave in the middle of my shift. I did this many times. I also kept quoting the labor laws at my boss even though I was not an employee. They were going to fire me and they said so to my good friends Michelle and Jennifer who in turn told me. I then chose to quit so that I would not get my contract terminated.

Again, I am sorry that I did this.

-Monique Worthington
