To all who may be considering either employment or an Independent Contract with this company (Res-Com) - DON'T DO IT! If I had any idea that this online multitude of complaints existed against Res-Com (even on many other sites), I would have never started the application procedure with them.

I find it interesting that there are actually a few people who have had something positive to say about Res-Com (they're probably company "plants"). Don't get me wrong, I was so looking forward to being a part of this company in the fairly recent past, but the application process is a VERY lengthy process, and I could not wait any longer to start working.

Yes, had I known up front that it would have taken this long for the process, I could have prepared properly, but I was told by one of their own representatives that I would be working in the field within a month....NOT SO!

I've passed my 3 tests and received my Inspector's certification #, and I only had to submit the final training test (which was not hard) in order to go to the next step in the application process.

HOWEVER! I have had consistent weekly fees taken out of my bank account for SEVERAL weeks from this company, and I had not yet even been hired with them! Furthermore, I was never told that these fees would even exist until I noticed chunks of money being removed from my account.

To make a long story short, I ended the application process with them over a month ago. It was THEN that I requested for the fees to stop coming out of my account, and I was told that they WOULD stop (which I have in writing, via e-mail). Well, not only did they continue taking my money, but they're STILL removing fees from my account to date!

Needless to say, I'm in the process of going to many other sources to inform them of this company's unethical practices and unauthorized deductions (including my bank, BBB's across the country, and many other venues).

I've found a much better online company to work with which is ethical, honest, and consistent with their communication and pay. Nevertheless, Res-Com still owes me, and I'm not stopping until I get compensated for what they've taken from me.

*** For the few of you 'claiming' to be happy with Res-Com, GOOD FOR YOU! But don't use your 'claims' to keep others from properly investigating this company before they get involved (which is what I should have done).

Also, when a Res-Com representative comes up here and tries to rebut this claim (as they've tried with others), remember that THIS IS THEIR JOB TO REBUT, and don't expect them to be truthful with their responses! There are WAY too many of us who have been shafted by this company - DON'T BE NEXT!

Res-Com, Sacramento California, Updated Membership Cancellation Procedures

AUTHOR: Christopher - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, January 02, 2006

For all of you who have been getting the "run around" by Res-Com, please note that I've FINALLY been forwarded the procedures for cancelling your membership with them (which is actually done through AABIE). This is what was sent to me:

"You must submit a cancellation in writing via email or US mail. You can log onto www.aabieonline.com and click on the membership icon on the home page. Scroll down the membership page and click on the Membership Cancellation Form. This form must be completed and emailed or mailed in. Please allow up to 7 business days for cancellation via email and up to 14 days via regular mail."

I hope this helps you...I know the feeling.
