Reservation Rewards - Web Loyalty deceptive marketing practices coupon scam stealing credit card information associated with fandango.com Norwalk Connecticut

Reservation Rewards, also known as Web Loyalty is an advertiser with fandango.com, and many other online companies and services. This company practices deceptive marketing by offering a "coupon" which when accepted obtains the credit card information provided to fandango.

The customer who has bought movie tickets through fandango, is now enrolled in a "rewards" program and the credit card information TAKEN from fandango is used to bill the customer monthly for this program.

Of course, this is almost always done without the customer's knowledge or approval when the FINE PRINT of the coupon offer is not read. If the customer does not notice the $12 montly charge by RESERVATIONREWARDS in Norwalk, CT, this charge will continue indefinately.

Of course, the consumer, not knowing they are enrolled in this program, receives no rewards and no benefits from the service for which they are being billed.

Shame on Fandango (fandango.com) for associating with this company deceptively obtaining credit card information and decpeptively billing an unknowing consumer.

There is a class action lawsuit filed in the state of Massachusetts against reservation rewards aka web loyalty.

Lesson learned: do not accept coupon offers from fandango.com, or better yet, do not do business with fandango com and ALWAYS check your credit card statements closely every month!
