Reservationrewards.com Charged my American Express account $9.00 monthly for the last five months. Internet Internet
*Consumer Suggestion: reservationsrewards.com
Beginning Feb. 3, 2006 they stated charging my American Express account 49.00 each month.
On May 7, 2006, I noticed the problem, and notified American Express. I also talked with Sharon at reservationrewards.com I instructed her and she agreed to stop charging my account.
Do you have any advice?
I believe this practice is highly unethical.
Thank You,
Jasman

I am an ex-employee of American Express, not reservationsrewards. In my time at AmEx I had opened MANY disputes about charges from Reservationsrewards.com 9.00 charge every month.
I have also had this charge on my debit card for 3 mos in a row and my dad has had it on his MasterCard. In every case, these charges originate by someone using their own card to pay for concert tickets from ticketmaster.
Knowing this, I still made a purchase from ticketmaster. The rep on the phone never asked if I wanted to sign up for reservations rewards, but I specifically told her I was not interested before I got off the phone with her. And I got charged 3 mos in a row. Each month I called and complained and got my money back and asked them to cancel. It took three tries to cancel!! Make sure if this happens to you you keep notes of who you spoke to when you cancelled and ask for a confirmation number
