Residential Signatures Fraudalent Business Pratices Visalia California

On 12-19-03, Josie of Residential Signatures called Notary Edwards to do a witness closing and both parties verbally agreed upon the contractual fee of $65.00. Josie faxed Notary Edwards a confirmation letter which consisted of the borrowers' address, date & time of the signing, and a written $65.00 confirmation fee. The confirmation letter stated that Notary Edwards would be paid no later than 1-15-04. Notary Edwards completed the signing on 12-23-03 and sent the loan documents back via UPS tracking number: 1Z9AT0210140447534

The signing service that employed Notary Edwards was residential signatures. The title company (advantage title co.)employed the signing services(Residential Signatuares), which contracted with Notary Edwards. The title company is Advantage Title Company, 1912 Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784. THe title company may need to be informed that their signing company do not pay its notaries.

Notary Edwards have sent faxes, made telephone calls, and has talked to Josie and Sally of Residential Signatures. They have assured Notary Edwards that the check is in the mail. To date, no check has been sent.(It is approaching three months, since the December 23, 2003 signing.)

This company has been misleading and fradulent in its pratice of payment. They have solicited Notary Edwards services under the false pretense that she would be paid by 1-15-04. Once the loan funded, Notary Edwards was stiffed out of her pay.

Residential Signatures are engaging in fraudalent practices across state lines. The attorney general in the States of Calfornia and Indiana will need to be informed.
