Ok, so here's the deal. I live in Columbia, Missouri and began renting from Results (based in Kansas City) last August.

There were three of us signed to the one-year lease (August 07 -July 08).

That winter, we began having problems with one of the roommates. He left for X-mas break in December, and when he came back he moved out while the other two of us were at work, but he continued to pay his 1/3 of the lease.

About a month later, he told us he had put an ad in the newspaper and found a possible sub-leaser. We agreed to meet him, but knew immediately it would not work, so we said we would get back to him.

The next day, I get a text telling me that our ex-roommate had given him a key and he and his parents were moving his stuff in that afternoon. What?! When we tried to contact Results to see how this could have happened and if he had been signed to the lease, they refused to call us back for weeks. When contacting the office in person, we were told to call HQ in Kansas City.

We really did try to make it work....


He's a disgusting, dirty, psychopathic druggie. Trashed the house, never cleaned, never did dishes. Constant drug use. Not just a little pot-smoking, which we could have lived with although neither of us smoked. He tripped on shrooms, acid, and pills from China I'd never heard of. He gave other crazies the key to our house. Woke me up in the middle of the night cause he would have bad trips and wanted to stay in my room with me. My friends, if they slept on the couch, would wake up to him staring at him. Has never paid a penny for utilities....you get the point.

So after a month of living in Hell, we started calling the KC office everyday. We finally got a response that he had been added to the lease and there was nothing we could do. Deal with it. We then informed them of the drug use, which violated the terms of the lease. Deal with it. And now they won't return our calls again. We were basically told to f*** off.

Anyway, there have been other problems such as refusal to fix things, failure to send promised signing bonuses, etc....but being forced to legally live with a nasty, dirty crazy without our consent at a place we are paying them to rent was what took the cake.

Moral of the story...

RESULTS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT are horrible landlords and deceptive in their leasing process. Don't rent from them. Ever.

This is not a valid complaint. Tenant cannot produce the lease he is reffering to and when questioned he also admits that he never has seen a lease. It was his own third roommate that allowed this guy in and we had nothing to do with it.

When questioning the third roommate he claims that it is the complaing party who has the issues. We have no knowledge of any of conduct as above.
