I have refrained from posting here for as long as I could.  I truly believed the emails saying all unpaid checks would be sent out, respected the request for former employees not to go to spread word of the company's problems, but it has been months now, and they are simply ignoring me, and now I see, others.  A  I have also saved every communication sent to me by the company from the time I was hired through the present.

I was a contractor hired with them in February.  All was well until the May 1-15th pay period.  I got an email asking for my bank account number so they could wire in money.  I asked why, and they said my paycheck was written off of an old account, so they knew the check would probably bounce.  Though I let them know in more than one communication I was also receiving bank charges, Sylvia, payroll and manager, told me they would cover the fees, but did not.  Then 2 weeks later the second paycheck bounced, and this time, I was ignored and had to send multiple commutations to receive any word on what they would do about it.  It took them many days to finally cover the bounced check, but by that time, all of my paid bills were returned and I incurred over $200 worth of fees, leading to the closure of my account. 

Then there was word that some of us would have our contracts terminated (incidentally I got mine after I alerted them to my bounced check.  There were emails sent saying they would have invoices paid from May 16-31st, some time by the end of June.  Then there was another email beyond the anticipated payment time saying "there is no money", please give us 2-4 weeks to pay invoices.  I checked in by email at week 3, ignored for awhile, then got a message saying that there was still no money, and I would get an update in 1 week on Monday.  That was 2 weeks ago. 

I protected this company's name, and I won't do it anymore.  Results Telemarketing uses contractors to dodge employment laws, so it will be challenging getting the department of Labor to act on my behalf.  If anyone can help make this company answer, pay us our money, please help.  I've lost a lot in this mess, and I like everyone else has a family to take care of.  This is sad.  I just want my last paycheck and to be done with this mess.
