On May 30 I had an email from a friend inviting me to join "reunion". When I went to the online site, I read the part where you couild join for $5.00 a month with a 12 month membership. It didn't say anywhere, that I saw, that it would be taken out all at once. When I saw on the last page that a $60.00 amount would come out of my account and I couldn't deny it on that page , I immediately called the Company.

The woman I talked to said that they couldn't refund the whole amount, but that she would change the membership to a month and charge me $12.00. I took part responsibility and agreed. I knew that $12. would be easier to refigure than $60. out of my account. I knew I had checks out that would need to be covered. The next day my bank called about an overdraft fee of $20.00. So I called 'Reunion' back and told them the situation. The woman told me that if I explained the situation to my bank they would probably credit me back the overdraft fee. Then she also explained that it couldn't be credited back for 7-10 working days. I asked why, if they can take it out electronically why they couldn't put it back the same? She tried to explain so I was patient and waited.

I went to my bank, June 17, well past the 7-10 days and it was not credited back! So I called them again. My bank informed me that I had another overdraft because of it. So now it is costing me $40.00 to get them to put my $48.00 back! I talked to a young lady who was trying to be polite, and she told me that their "Credit Department" was 'backed-up"! She said that they had 'sent out' my credited amount on the 16th and it should be back in my account by the week. I asked again, why can't they put it back in my account sooner since they promised me in 7-10 working days? She said she was trying to help me but that I wouldn't "let" her. She could tell I was frustrated, so I asked for a supervisor.

I had already waited on the phone for 30 minutes for the young woman to answer, now I waited for STEVE to get on the phone. When Steve answered he asked if he could help me. I told the whole story again. I called immediately when I saw the amount, but could not deny the transaction with the way they had their site set up. So I had to call the company. I did so that very evening and changed the membership. Now they hadn't lived up to their promise and now it is costing me another $20. So as customer service why couldn't he refund my money immediately? He said that I had already been told that they were backed up, and I should have it in my account by friday. I said that I had already made several calls to them, that I should have been priority, and with a large Company as there's, why couldn't they electronically give me back my money. "We have already told you..." Steve started up again.

I explained to Steve that I was being pretty patient about it until now. He started to tell me that my bank would reimburse me for the fees because "HE" has always worked with customers who... this time I cut him off! I told him he could call my bank because I had just left there and they told me that since they didn't credit it back when they said; that I should dispute the whole thing and get all my money back. He laughed at me and started to argue. I again told him to wait and listen. I don't care how many customers had their banks reimburse them, this was in no way that situation. Reunion had promised me my money back in 7-10 days and it was not done. My bank knew the story and their answer was to dispute! I was giving him the opportunity to satisfy a customer and they kept repeating some robotic answer of proceedure and that it takes 7-10 days. That the credit was sent out on the 16 and I would get it in my account by Friday. Why?! It should be able to be put back as quickly as it was taken out!

Now I won't even start on the fact that no friend remembers sending me anything on Reunion and to join with them!
