Reva Development And Consulting ripoff Did not finish their work lied to BBB, wants to charge me to finish what they didn't complete Covina California

I was referred to the company by my real estate agent and the company is owned by his co-workers who are also agents at Remax Masters/Covina. I trusted them but once the work was started I was disappointed. The work is sloppy, they would leave a mess, my furniture got ruined, they would drink on the site, they still have not completed the job and I haven't had anyone come do work in over a month. I complained to the BBB and the company's response was full of lies. They want to charge me now for each day their workers have to come back when in the first place they haven't finished.

They took off my smoke alarms and didn't put them back up. I told them if their is a fire in my place and someone is injured they would be held responsible, the wood flooring is not complete nor does the wood look of the same color, there is missing molding not to say the least but the way they put up the molding is of poor workman like condition, the paint job is also horendous.

The workers do not have any pride in their work otherwise it would not look the way that it does. I call the owners and they do not answer the calls, they will email me occasionally. I asked to go to arbitration but they do not respond back with my request. Halfway through their work they had me move in with no running hot water.

Their subcontracting granite installer also ruined a garden outside my complex and they did not want to take responsibility for it. The owners are real estate agents and I can't believe they would work ethically in their real estate practice either. I complained to Remax and I never got a response from them either. I don't know how anyone would want to keep guys like this on their team. I think my agent is also aware of the way they run their business because all of a sudden he wouldn't be answering my phone calls either.

Now I received an email that it would be another two weeks until someone can come and do some work but I would be charged $200 because I had canceled a previous appointment. I never canceled any appointment, he sent a worker telling him to do touch ups. The worker had no supplies with him and was unaware of what he needed to do. He told me he would come back in 4 days and that day he never showed up. I called him that morning and he stated he was waiting for one of the owners to bring him money for gas and supplies and he would call me back. He never called. I called him and one of the owners (Carlos) and no one would answer my calls.

I had heard the excuse that they are short-handed many times or the workers themselves would tell me that they would not be able to come until the afternoon and that it is too far to drive for a short time. I also found out that their is a lack of communication between the workers and the owners.

Right now I am left with uncompleted work and they got paid in full in advance. Complaining to the BBB didn't work because Reva rebutted with all lies.
