I lived at revere landings a total of 6 years for the first 3 years it was wonderful but than the manager left and revere landings hired charlene. She was the type of manager to raise the rent my rent went from 675 .00 to 850.00. She stopped giving rent concessions, normally when you sign a new lease you get 1 months rent off. She simply said they werent honoring that any more. For the first year of her being manager things started to go down hill. There were murders, robberies and mass destruction of the property, someone burnt down the office and than someone ripped out the coin change machiine in the laundry room. You couldnt got to the pool it was locked up because it was never cleaned there were condom wrappers all around the jacuzzi and what looked like fecal matter in the pool and jacuzzi area. The pond was contanimated they were always pumping soething out of it. The crime was so high there were literally swat live shots running around chasing criminals. One time i accidently came up on an entire swat team in a van becuse they were parked in an guest spot and had no tag. I constantly had no wear to park even though i was a resident people would let people come live there that werent on the lease causing us not to have a parking spot. i was forced to pay 25.00 for a parking decal everytime i switched or bought a new car which was Bull s**t. 

My apartment when i moved in the carpet was not put in correctly it could move all around the place basically you could drag it around it wasnt secure it was never installed it was just laid there. I complained about the fact that the carpet was to short and and didnt completely cover the entrance. They just claimed that they could strecth the carpet and that was it. They stretched it and it ripped. There were mold and mildew pretty mad in both bathrooms i complained about it several times as it was making us all sick. they refused to fix it. there were termites that hatched in certain times or intervals so i would have like millions of flying ant like creatures in my apartment. they refused to fix this as well. There was a crack head below me who hadnt been there in months and the eletric was off so all the food and the s**t he had in there rotted so there were a million roaches that came up to my upstairs apartment. The stove didnt work as there was a short in it. the cabinets were installed crooked and falling off hinges very cheap and no doubt the work was done by unlicenced contracter "mexicans".

Revere landings constantly used undocumented workers for painting repair they dont get in trouble cuase there not actually on the books they claim they have a maintenance staff but they dont maintain s**t. The biggest problem and why we left w*as we we*re constantly losing power sometimes wed be days without power we called teco to get an analysis of this situation, they stated reverel andings has a faulty transformer and the electrical wiring in here is outdated and they are already aware this needs to be fixed. I later confirmed with a friend of my husbands that was the maintenance staff that this is indeed true and he showed it to us.

We eventually had to leave as someone acouple doors down from us was stabbed to death and we feared for our lives we constantly sent charlene notices of the maintenance issuess and roblems she refused to do anythig about them. Until the day i threatened to take her to court. She then stated that if we were that unhappy she would let us out of our lease. We recieved no concession and in fact she illegally signed us up for a 24 month lease when we never signed one we believe when the office burned down they forced peoples signatures and or re interated false documents. But when we moved out we left no damage whatsoever and they have yet to show proof of any of this they just made a fake itemized document and just put whatever kinda charges on them. After 3 years of living there we had normal wear and tear but by no means owe 30,000 in damages this is crazy.

FACT: its public record you can check how many times officers have been to reverelandings, and trust they arent coming there every 5 minutes for a " community meeting " you can have the report faxed to you by making a phone call due be advised you will probably need like 10 packs of copy paper to retrieve the reports.

FACT: they are still being investigated by the building inspector and are given a period of time to get things up to code if they dont they are fined. IF NOT I WILL OPEN A NEW CASE AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL THIS COMPLEX CLOSES DOWN FOR BEING SLUM LORDS!

FACT:  the law states that if the landlord fails to provide a safe living facility the lease is void and null. statutes 83.201 http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0000-0099/0083/0083.html

FACT: Normal wear in tear after 3 years is normal. You can not illegally inflate charges for caprpet cleaning to $250.oo for a small area or to paint on small section of 3,000 thats ridiculous and poor business practices.

FACT: if you dont take it off my credit i will take you to court and sue you anyways the public consumer division who regulates the credit bureas is investigating the credit burea because its illegal to post what you did on my credit. I owe absolutely nothing. 

If you continue this charade I will sue you in court.

This couple admits publicly that they are on a mission to defame and discredit our good name.  Why? Because they just found out their credit shows that they owe money to our community.

Unfortunately websites allow them the venues for which to write completely false statements, and create outrageous untruths. 

The consequences she and her husband are facing are from skipping on their lease (which is similar to not paying your credit card bills). Her complaint is a complete fabrication of the facts.

 

FACTS:

We charged her for breaking a lease and for major repairs that included appliance and cabinets.  This was back in 2010.  The unit was vacant for six months and the charges totaled $7,248.48. When a lease, which is a contract, is broken the other party is entitled to damages. Of course this will affect one's credit rating. We always accommodated them as we do all of our residents. They lived in two different apartment units and renewed five times. They left without notice in 2010 leaving no forwarding address.

We acted appropriately. Their rent was only $657 per month NOT the inflated amount of $850 they are posting on websites.  In the past 6 years the rent was decreased not increase to accommodate new and existing residents during the housing and work crisis.  There were NO swat teams on our property ever and no murders.  They are seriously crazy for stating such.   Our move-­out records, including PICTURES, show there was severe damage, debris, filth and furniture left in the apartment.   

Code enforcement visited our community  due to a call placed by this former resident and the case was immediately closed because there was no evidence of her libelous statements being true.

We were voted and won the Silver Award by the Tampa Tribune readers as the best community in the NE Tampa area. We have 324 units and have maintained 94% occupancy for several years. The charges on their credit report are accurate and will remain on their credit report until paid in full.

The Commanding Major from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office has invited us to attend the "Property Manager's quarterly meetings" to share with other property owners what we do to keep our property trouble free.  That was a big compliment to our efforts in doing what we do best.  Providing the best care to our residents and a community as safe as could be.  We love what we do here and our residents appreciate us. 

We are a privately owned and operated, gated community and we welcome you all to come to our community and see for yourselves what we have to offer.
