Customers who are using a hotel booking agency online beware.I found out the hard way they are not as advertised.They refused to refund any money if you must check out early due to work.Also, the room they sold us was in a dangerous part of town which contradicted their advertisement of providing hotel accomadations in a "safe" neighborhood.The sheets were torn, the towels were dirty, and paint was peeling off the walls.Due to a change in job sites, the insurance company we were working with required us to leave the area early.When we checked out 3 days early the guy at the desk said we would have to contact Priceline directly to get our money back.He said he had already been paid in full by them and it was the policy of the hotel to make you get your money back from the booking company.When I called this booking company they refused to refund any money saying my contract specified no refund when I made the reservation.My recommendation is deal with the hotels directly and don't use booking companies . . they are a rip off.We want our money back for the 3 unused nights at the hotel we stayed at.
