My partner was on the way home from the shops when an italian guy pulled over next to hom at the lights and asked him whetyher he was interested in purchasing Armani jackets for a realy low price, he claimed to have been a sales person for armani and that he had set up a stall in the city where he sold these jackets and was desperately trying to get rid of some left overs for he was flying back to Italy that night.

To me it all seemed suspect though my boyfriend was convinced for this guy had showed him his ticket and he even had a rental car. When I had returned home i checked the web for the specific armani label (RGA) and to my surprise I came across numerous reports that people just like my boyfriend had the same thing happen to them. What surprised me most was the similarities in the stories, all guys had used similar stories and tactics and what got me more so was the fact that the stories were told from people in America and the same thing happened to me although we are so far away. These people must have a huge business set up scamming people.

What I want to know though is how these people get a hold of so many jackets because by the sounds of it there is quite alot going around, they dont seem to be fake its real leather and the labels and packaging and even coat hangers are identical to a legitimate armani clothing. At the end of the day its a great bargain, my partner paid $1300 for 11 jackets with its retail value being $4000 ea which he decided to sell them for $1000 ea and all in all making a profit of aprox $10,000. So the way i see it, dont be a victim although you were tricked, rather see it as a good thing for yourself.
