One more story to add to the "Armani leather jacket" series.

This happend to me in the spring of 2006.
A guy in a suit, speaking english with an italian accent, sold me three "leather jackets" at a parking lot.

Exactly the same proceidure again:
The man is asking for the way to the airport, he is an italian, working for a fashion company. He is on a business trip, and wants to "give away" some Giorgio Armani jackets he has left, and so on.

He shows me his business card, his italian passport, a fashion catalogue and, strangely enough, a roll of notes!
He even showed me the trunk of his car to show me that he realy didn't have any more stock left.
I ended up bying three jackets for 1500 norwegian kroner (US$250).

I don't know much about fashion clothes, and had at the time hardly heard about Armani, but I thought that 3 quite nice leather jackets for that price was a good deal in any case.

When I read all you other peoples stories, It seems like a lot of you have had the same attitunde, and some of you apparenly still think you have got leather jackets for a good price. But I can assure you, THE JACKETS ARE NOT LEATHER.
Try carefully to heat the "leather" with a lighter, and you will se that it is melting. Leather dosen't do that. It's some kind of plastic or synthetic material.

This is obviously a quite proffesional gang, since they seem to be operating all over the world, with exactly the same products and exactly the same proceidure. Seams like they have serious focus on education!
If I had to guess I would say that they are russians, or from some other east european country. Here in Europe, these people are on top with regards to all type of scam operations, and profit-crime in general.
