Well I am not the first to write a rip off report aboput this company. Let me tell you, this has to be the worst customer service I have ever had in my 32 years on this earth.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING 8 MONTHS FOR A BIKE THAT MOST LIKLEY WILL NEVER COME!!!
Unlike most, I paid for my Rhino Hunter S in full back in January of 08. Yea it is now almost October and still no bike. The riding season is just about over, and I have been left without a bike for the entire season.
You see, when I purchased my bike, I was told that the bikes looked great and they were shipping in March.
March Comes around and no bike. I wait a few weeks and I call Rhino and I get a girl who said someone will call me soon. Three days later I email Mr. Robert Akop. I get a email saying the bike was delayed untill May.
Don't you think that you should have contacted me? It should not be my job to find out what is going on.
So May Comes around, and I am told that they are pushed back untill July. Again only after many emails, and jumping through hoops to find out.
So Here come July. And I email Mr. Akop to see what the status was. Rhino knew that I was running a Poker run to raise money for St. Judes Hospital in late July. He said, sorry, but you should rent a bike, becasue the Rhino's are delayed again. I sent him a very angry email telling him how unhappy I was and that I should not have to wait for months and months for something I paid for in January. I got a email resonse back telling me, if I was not happy get a refund, but I would not be able to purchase a bike when they come out. He told me that there was a little snag, but the bikes would be here in August.
I decided that I already have time invested, and I already purchased a ton of aftermarket accessories, so I said, no I will wait.
In August I was told that they were delayed again, this time by a dealer in Florida that has been waiting for his Rhino's as well. He even stated that he was now the voice for Rhino as theur PR man, and that all questions and concerns should be sent to him. After getting his side, I decided to wait yet again, untill September.
The delaer that was acting like a PR man for Rhino sent me this email....
They have shipment leaving china in mid september and shipment to customers who placed pre-orders in late september. The production of these bikes will be 120 bikes a week (480 a month) in december the bikes will be ramped up in production to 960 bikes a month. They need deposits from dealers like myself in order for us even to get product. That will be after each customer receives there unit. I told greg file a report online like everyone else. I can no longer be rhino's pr man. I will let them get themselves out of there own mess.......
And this is where were are now. I have written several emails to both Alex Chiv and Bobby Akop over the last week or so, and none have been answered. If The bikes are sceduled to be shipped, they would have some sort of proof.
At this point I feel that I have been ripped off, and that I will never get my bike. Even the dealers have lost faith in this sham of a company.
All Rhino needs to do is be honest, answer emails, and keep the people who already paid or put deposits down updated and informed.
When I do get emails back, they are one or two sentences, and they all have attitudes attached. They seem to not care, they are just like who cares? So what? Don't like it? Then Get a refund.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have this bike, I have the time and money invested in it. But If I can't get an exact date on when I will get my bike, then I feel it is time for my refund. I have stated this in one of the emails that has yet to be answered.
I also hope that this will keep other customers from making the same mistake as me, and countless others by trusting our hard earned money to a company that is about American as pork fried Rice.
