To Richard Brown and staff: Your company has recently posted (Oct. 2008) misleading ads on craigslist.com. You have set up an automated email address, in which you respond to applicants and you request "test assignments". Afterwards the applicant hears nothing from you. You most likely use the test articles for your own purposes. You never intended to actually hire anyone, even though you are listed as a potential employer. Your posting was flagged and removed from craigslist as spam. I will be reporting you to every agency I can think of to hold you accountable for your actions. It is totally unethical for you to do what you have done and you will be held accountable.

It is standard to require a sample article to be submitted by anyone hoping to write for any copywriting operation. If nobody contacted you following a submission, this likely means it was sub-standard and that you are no longer being considered as a writer. Your submission was never used in any manner other than to evaluate your qualifications.
