Richard 'Rich" Gulash, the owner of RichCoResidentialCorp.com was previously employed by First Response Roofing in Florida and after leaving that company in shambles he started his own company named RichCo Residential and then teamed up with Ms. Talena Beik and as far as I can tell with reading other complaint boards he continued his scamming ways in the Houston Tx.  (LINK) area, after the hurricane Ike hit Galveston Tx. in 2008. Their phones are now disconnected in Houston and the space is abandoned, and numerous people are left high and dry (apparently a common sign that his crew has been there). He resurfaced in Port St Lucie Fl. and was hard to find until the tornadoes hit  Murfreesboro TN, in 2009  now those phones are disconnected and the space is empty again. Next the Tornadoes hit us in Raleigh N.C. they hit us here in our own backyard so RichCo Residential popped up again collecting insurance deposits and making excuses as to why the work they were contracted to do has yet to begin, sadly for the Victims here in N.C. and Tennessee (oh by the way, they stopped off in Virginia to grab a few checks at a store front office setup for a couple week then disappeared) then the Alabama tornadoes hit shortly thereafter, and of course RichCo's 5 man crew scurried off to Alabama to prey on another unsuspecting group of vunerable homeowners who had lost everything.

How they expect everyone to believe that with 5 employees they can rebuild homes damaged in North Carolina ,Tennessee and Alabama simultaneously is beyond me, and the people that they collect money from for that matter. It seems as long as a new disaster keeps hitting they can continue to stay one step ahead of the law and keep filling their pockets with victims insurance proceeds. They simply create  a labrynth of changing toll free numbers and hand off excuses about materials being delayed and permits changing then come back asking for more money or they can't complete the job! Beware!! I for one am hopefull that I'm the last one that they have scammed and I hopr that this info helps those of you who got ripped off before me to find some justice! I'm Hot on their trail and won't be kept quiet 'til everyone gets their money back!!

My only option of defense

AUTHOR: Richard Gulash - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 12, 2011
Well with great hesitation.....I feel as if I have exhausted all options and must post a response to this nonsense!

A world where someone can sit cowering behind a keyboard and speak malicious lies in a vain attempt to damage the reputation of an honest and reliable man and business. I know who wrote the original complaint. It was not a real customer! It is actually a person that has a personal vendetta against me. That is the truth and yet can do nothing about it as they are protected by this website and its anonymity. You see rip off has never lost a lawsuit. I spoke with an attorney who is the author of "CyberBomb" (a book about internet business slander and the 1st amendment as they are 1st amendment protected and even though I have proof of the author, they will never take it down.

You might take note that the some of the hyperlinks in Candices complaint no longer work. That is because a reputable site Wordpress.com removed them when I pointed out that it was a false statement made by someone impersonating an alleged victim of mine! Funny, victim! The only victim is my reputation.

You see Rip Off Report.com while a great idea in concept does not actually police there site for false statements or impersonations! Thats right, not everything you read here is trueor even close to true! The allegations contained in the post above are false but the only way Rip Off will even talk to you is if you send the money to arbitrate. Yeah right arbitrate, more like 1st amendment protected extortion. What is to stop them from having anonymous posters from around the globe damage the reputation of legitimate businesses like mine over and over? Then they can collect arbitration fees or blackmail money.

Well here is some truthI am the owner of RRC. I have never taken anything from anyone. My handshake still means something to me. I have to have a contract because there are those in the world that will try to get over but if I say it, I do it.

I am not a thief. If any of the allegations in the above post were true, I would be in jail. There would be newspaper articles about me. My State licenses would be revoked. (They are all still active and valid) I am not hard to find, my business addresses are all over the internet. My phone numbers are there too. My cell phone has been the same for over 14 years (321)231-9864. Call me if you want too. I do not have to hide because I am honest and that is the best part of always telling the truth!

Shoddy construction!? Please! Go to our website http://www.richcoresidentialcorp.com

See for yourself. Facebook us, we will friend you and you can see our work..our customer satisfaction!

Now lets set the record straight, (as the wonderful folks that created rip-off say when they ask for your credit card #) RRC was in Houston for Hurricane Ike.  RRC has advanced storm contracts with major insurance carriers to provide their customers rapid response emergency services like tarping, structural stabilization, structural drying and board up to secure their homes in a post catastrophe setting. We went to Houston at the request of our contracts to fulfill our obligations to our customers. I actually have a letter of recommendation from the US Army Corps of Engineers from the 2004 hurricane season posted on my website. (Go see some of our recommendations for yourself)

http://richcoresidentialcorp.com/images/stories/Referral_Army%20Corp%20Letter_RichCO.pdf

How many scammers have that letter? Anyway, often in a post disaster setting, homeowners that we perform emergency services for are impressed with our professionalism and quality and they ask us to perform the total restoration on their home. This obviously gives them an advantage as we are there from day one and begin the process of restoration immediately. We NEVER TAKE MONEY UNTIL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED!!! So any and all of the allegations of us scamming money and leaving town are absurd. Again, this statement is fabricated in the cowardly mind of the author of the original complaint. Do you think that a large insurance carrier like would contract with someone that is a liar, a cheat and a thief? Well, RRC holds a recurring contract with a major insurance carrier to perform post catastrophe damage mitigation and have since 2008.

As to you Candice (good name by the way, it fits you) I am not yet a state licensed in North Carolina and have never hammered a nail in that state let alone collected money! It is little ironic that the author chose a State that RRC has never operated in to say I was scamming customers. (Not to worry North and South Carolinians).I am taking the builders exam in 2 weeks and will be coming soon if needed! However, when we do arrive, rest assured that I will have all required licenses and insurance in hand as we always do!

Currently RRC restricts its business activities to the States that we are licensed by. Those states are Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas (which actually no longer requires a license, but I was a registered builder when they did) Virginiasorry just never been there but it did add a nice touch to the lie except geographically Virginia is not on the way to Alabama so I do not know why I went north to go south .anyway.

Well if you have read all of this, you are obviously researching me and my company because you need our services. I hope you make the decision to call me! Call my personal cell (it is always on) and I usually answer but I will definitely call you back if you leave a voice mail! I can assure you I am the exact opposite of what this coward has posted and I will make sure you are in a safe and secure home faster than any other contractor in the business and best of all .RRC will do the entire job for the replacement cost value of your insurance estimate.

Thank You Very Much for making it all the way through! I feel a little better now! Hopefully I do not have to talk to you soon! (That is a little humor since if I am working in your neighborhood there was a really bad storm recently) Thanks Again!

Best Regards,

Rich
