Rick Cortez / Sinclair Air Rick Cortez This Company Ripped Off my 87 year old Mother DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS Covina, California

Not even a month after my Father passed after battling with lung cancer for 4 months My Mothers furnace quit heating. After calling around she found these crooks that went out to her home and told her that her furnace was beyond repair. They used high pressure tactics and convinced her that they had to replace her furnace now. They even said if she didn't replace her furnace right away they would call the gas company and have the gas meter pulled from her home and it would cost her thousands of dollars to get it back. The overpriced furnace they ( Mike Gardner Installer for the company ) put in was a lemon ( Please see attached pictures) that had several installation errors and was putting gas fumes into the supply air. Our family attorney found the supplier of the furnace (US Air Conditioning Distributors in City of Industry CA.) and placed a call to them. The response was that the owner of Sinclair Air Systems in Covina CA was Rick and Susan Cortez and they were known for selling Lemon Equipment thru there "Bargain Center" The bargain center we discovered was junk equipment returned from actual quality contractors due to being defective in some way. I placed a call to Contractors State License Board and discovered there was a history of inappropriate behavior stemming from not paying his employees to serious code violations. I also discovered a fictitious company linked to Rick Cortez ( American Air )
I also had the replaced furnace examined by a real contractor and was informed that the only problem with the old furnace was that the hot surface ignition module was defective. A $57.84 part at Home Depot.
I hope you don't use these crooks in your home and I also hope you pass the word around about these crooks that not only ripped my Mother off thousands of dollars that she couldn't afford to part with but almost killed her too.
These guys don't give a d**n about being honest or the safety of their customers. There suppliers will even tell you that.
