We Bought a van 2 years ago from Rightway.  When we got it home we noticed that the bottom was g;ued around the bottom lights.  The transmission was slipping and the fuel gage didnt work.  We had a warranty with car rental but you had to pay for the rental up front and then they will reimburse you.   Plus their warranty people said it would take six weeks to fix the fuel gage and they just said dont tromp on the engine and the transmission is fine.  Wow and Im not a mechanic and can tell when i have a bad transmission.

We can up grade though in a year as long as you make your payments on time.  That was a lie our credit score went up but we owed too much on the van they should of known that.  Now the 2 years later and the trans is gone.  cant trade it back in without a 1000 dollars down.  Well if i had a 1000 i could buy a used car out right or fix the trans.  So I have to pay 400 a month for a car that doesnt work and now i cant get to work.  These people are major scam artists.

Why is it when its your responsability to care and maintain YOUR vehicle, That its a scam on thier part for not giving you your way. How exactly are they scamming you? This is always the last resort for ppl who cant afford to have a problem that is thier resposability to handle but they cant and want someone else to pay for it. They ALWAYS claim there was a problem when they made thier purchase. If this was ACTUALLy the case, you would have taken the vehicle back. No this is even easier to explain away. There MAY have been a issue with the tranny but you either chose to ignore it or didnt want to deal with the hassle of useing the warrenty in the timeframe they suggested. Or there was NO problem and youre just saying that in order for someone else to pay for the repairs.

Heres a tip: Call around to some of your LOCAl tranny shops. You may be able to get your vehicle fixed without having to drop all of the repair costs at once. I know when my engine developed a serious water leak I was able to talk with my mechanic and work out a payment plan with him. As this was my only vehicle and I work 60+ hours a week, he was willing to be understanding and let me use my car while I paid him what he was owed. This has caused me to refer more business to him because he was understanding.
