orizon Technologies approached Rip-off Report last month with the express purpose of resolving consumer concerns posted on Rip-off Report. After a recent mailing to everyone who filed a Rip-off Report, it became apparent that Horizon Technologies has a sincere commitment to remedy any and all customer concerns. Company executives stated to Rip-off Report that Horizon is consistently committed to making improvements to better serve customers and that the many things they changed came from suggestions right here on Rip-off Report.
Horizon Technologies explained to Rip-off Report that they have increased its customer service staff by 50%, created a new concierge department to interface with new customers at least twice in their 1st 48 hours as customers and extended their hours to provide longer access to customer service for more of its customers! They also have increased their product fulfillment department and extended that department's hours as well. Additionally, they have increased their distributor's web-site templates by 400% and reduced shipping times for GPS products to 48-72 hours of purchase. Company executives also stated that their new more efficient Customer Service Department has added several new processes to ensure they make even more contact with their customers. Horizon believes this has greatly enhanced their proactive approach to help customers reach their goals.
Rip-off Report gives Horizon Technologies a positive rating because the company revamped its Customer Service Department, Product Fulfillment and Commercial Sales Departments and reached its goal to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction and excellent service. This was made possible by a totally honest approach to corporate introspection.
Horizon Technologies would have never made these changes if they did not first recognize and admit they needed to make enhancements. I have always said that all companies can improve in some way if they really want to. If that does not occur then the company stagnates and will ultimately fail. That is not the case here. This may have made communication more difficult rather than easier as they had anticipated. What they found was that they lost personal touch - something people had grown to love about their company.
