In January 2002, all the health club members found the doors locked and a sign in the door congratulating them that they were now Gold's Gym members. Surprise! Now we are forced to utilize overcrowded facilities shared by 2 sets of exhisting members. Both clubs were busy prior to the merger. The facilities are smaller, overcrowded and have fewer amennities. Yeah, it's a health club but for 30 bucks a month you woud expect at a minimum access to equiptment. I have to wait in line now to use a treadmill/bench. It's a sham.
