A girl came to my home and asked if I could help her. She looked like she could use some. I said I how. She is selling magazines of which she get part of the take if she sells enough. She is in the area from another state.

She went into her rehearsed speech about needing money, I can't remember why. After talking for a while, I decide to help her out. I ordered just one magazing subscription, giving her a check for $12.45.

The receipt said to mail the same amount to their 226860 Miami PO box within 2-10 days, and I did that, too. Both checks have been cashed and 5 months later I am still left with nothing. Soon after she left, I saw her and several other girls about the same age on the street corner compairing notes I think. They were working the area together.

I decided to help because I bought her story, but not too much, which is why I only ordered one subscription. I've lost $25, not much, but I'd really like to see this group get theirs!
