We purchased our 2nd Blue Haven pool about two years ago. Let me start by saying that out first Blue Haven pool was great, and that is why we purchased a 2nd pool from them when we moved.

This pool was completed around October, 1999. In January, 2000, after all of the rain, out entire deck rose about 2 inches away from the coping, leaving a very ugly gap around our pool.

We called Blue Haven and told them of the problem and they told us that this was not covered under their warranty, but they would be happy to send their Mastic company back out to fill in the gap to make it look better.

We weren't very happy, but we accepted having the problem cosmetically repaired. As of today, no one has ever been out to our house to make this repair.

Even after numerous phone calls and visits to the McKinney office. My husband has spoken to Otis and he has promised that some one will come out to our house - Liar!!!

The second item: our fiber optic light only worked about four months from the time the pool was completed. We again called and spoke to Otis in the McKinney office and was told someone would be out to check it out. After two years of being told someone would come out, my husband called again about a month ago and was told that 'We're sorry, your light only has a one year warranty and it is out of warranty'.

This is bull@*&#!!! No one would come out when it was under warranty!!! Such Liars!!
I talked to Ripley in the McKinney office about three weeks ago and explained to him all of the problems with our pool.

He advised me to call David Shipley at their service department. I called David Shipley and was told that he would come out and check out our light and if it was the bulb, he would take care of it and replace it. Liar, he now tells me that he will not replace the bulb. I them called and talked to a Kim at the South Lake Office and explained to her the lie from David Shipley.

She told me 'Mrs. George, I have a buld sitting right here in my office and I will put your name on it and have it sent to the McKinney office for you to pick up'. That was three weeks ago and no bulb.

I then talked to Ripley at the McKinney office and told him of the two Liars and he told me 'Don't you worry, I will make sure you get that bulb, You will get a bulb.' Nothing yet.

The third item: our deck around our pool has a total of 6 cracks in it at this time. Shortly after the pool was completed we had about four cracks in our deck that were about three foot long each.

We called Blue Haven and they said they would have someone come out to make the repairs. The repair men did come out, but only repaired three out of the four cracks. We called Blue Haven back and explained that not all of the cracks were repaired. Once again, we were told someone would be out to make the necessary repairs. Liars. No one has been back out and now there are more cracks in the deck.

The fourth item: our plaster on the steps had cracked shortly after the pool was completed. We called Blue Haven and someone came out to make the repair. The repair was done half-assed and it looks like crap. When we called Blue Haven, they once again said 'We will have someone come out.' Liars. No one has been back out to our house.

We have talked to Kim at the South Lake office and she told my husband that she would have someone come out to look at the plaster, the mastic and the cracks in the deck. We never heard from anyone for two weeks. When my husband called her back, she acted like she didn't know who he was. Liar. I called back Ripley and he said to talk to Otis, that he was the Manager over our area. My husband once again talked to Otis and acted like he didn't know what he was talking about and told my husband that he would have to pull our file. My husband finally got the number for Otis' boss, Leigh, in the South Lake office. He called her and left a message. She called him back and left a message, but every time he calls her back he gets the same response; 'she's in a meeting.' I finally called Leigh myself, and I got the same response. I explained the details to her assistant, Ruth, but nothing has been done.

Blue Haven is full of empty promises and lies. I wish that they would just follow thru on their promises and take care of the problems. I paid a lot of money to Blue Haven - two pools!!! I am a customer and I deserve to be treated fairly. All that I want is for the promises that were made to me and my husband to be followed thru on. I would like for someone from Blue Haven to come out to our house and look at our pool!! It is embarrassing to have people over for swimming parties when our deck and coping look like shit!!!

I am sorry you have been given the run around in you r opinion.I am new and my job is pretty much just service requests and nothing else.For a couple of other people that had similiar concerns as yours I have been able to get them results.

Allow me the oppurtunity to work for you. I have a list of needs and repairs but no name first and last, address, or phone numbers. Please respond to me by phone, I am sure I can get you some actual progress in your repairs and I hope I can change your mind about our service department
