Ashburn, VirginiaI received my MasterCard statement with a charge of $109.95 from MWI*Connections, charged on Nov 18, 2002. I called the 1-800-568-2386 number listed and asked what the charge was for and who made the charge. The telemarketer that answered sounded foreign and I could not completely understand everything she said, but is sounded like she was trying to sell me other 'plans' or other options of purchase. I was astounded, as I had called to cancel this item and find out who charged it in the first place and they turn around and try to sell me something else! How RUDE!
I asked for an address and a name of a supervisor or department to whom I could file a complaint. The woman gave me an address (which I could barely understand her and had her SPELL the street name - Dodge - because I couldn't understand her English). She would not give me a name and said, 'please have a good day.', then she hung up!
That's when I got on the internet to track them down and came across this website. At least it's a start.
