I believe I have been a victim of fraud. I have ordered Nikon-SB400 flash in Ritzcamera.com using Payplal service. Due to the mistake on the delivery information I immediately (after 3 min) contacted the company through on-line chat service and cancelled this order. I was reassured that the order was cancelled and promised to get my money back. To follow up our chat conversation I sent an email to the customer service and after two days still have not received any replies. Every time I contacted the chat service (and I have done it a numerous times) I was told that they experience computer sytem problems and now my reservation is cancelled. Please note that I was told 'now' every time I have contacted the chat service. Yesterday I was given a phone number of the billing department where they told me again that my call was registered and 'now' my order is cancelled. Sofar, the status of my Paypal account has not changed and I have not received any money back. I decided to speak to a manager (I am not sure if it was a real manager) and after my complaints he told me that I will get my money in 3-4 hours. I have checked my Paypal account after 4 hours and no surprise the money were still not there. I have called again and after waiting for 30 min they did hang up on me. After a few attempts, finally, I was able to speak to somebody who told me again that he can see in the system that 'now' my order is cancelled and he will place a priority on my case. When I told him that his manager promised to process refund in 3-4 hours, he could not add anything. On the top of this when I checked the status of my order on-line, the system shows that my order does not exist. Today, I contacted the Ritz customer service again and was told that there has been no transaction found in PayPal on their behalf. They suggested making another reservation (can you believe in that?!). I could not believe if he was serious! He added since the status of your payment is pending thus technically they did not charge me. However, my visa card was charged by Paypal on the Ritzcameras behalf. I guess I have lost my money! I would strongly advise considering another on-line store before ordering something from this company.
