River City Management LLC Kathy Nichols Rude, Unprofessional, Personal Attack, Privacy Violation Spokane Washington

 It is my opinion that Ms. Kathy Nichols did not even attempt to address my original complaint. I believe her claims to the damages are completely overestimated, but I allowed her to keep the entire damage deposit simply because the emotional toll of communicating with Ms. Kathy Nichols is not worth it. From my perspective, her rebuttal to my original complaint further supports my position. I was upset at what I perceived to be verbal abuse. I don't think even bringing up my personal life or problems is remotely professional. She dug into issues that I am still receiving help for, and she won't even address her unprofessional manner and cruelty. All she responds with are exaggerated damages to undermine my credibility. I absolutely take responsibility for normal wear and tear on the house. I mean, we lived there for 3 years and life isn't pretty all the time. I am simply appalled at her ability to tear me down so completely and walk away thinking it was justified because there was dust on the window sills, and small repairs around the house were needed. I will never do business with her again, and I would strongly suggest avoiding her at all costs.

It makes me sad that this young man wrote this about me and River City Management LLC,  Mr. Ekin told me about his marital problems 2 months ago when his wife took off to Hawaii and left him with no money or way to pay the rent.  His rent was continually late and he was only called when rent was late or his dog did damage to the house or he did not maintain the yard.

I had an appointment with Mr. Ekin on Sunday the 27th of June to do his move out inspection at 8:00 am and he was 25 minutes late because he thought it was more important to stop at Mcdonalds to eat than to keep his appointment that he scheduled. When I arrived there was still personal property in the house and in the back yard and I told him he was not ready for his move out and he said it was not or not al all.  He stated he had to get back to work.  

I told him I was sorry that he had such a horrible year and that maybe he would be better off without someone who is a cheater.  I left.  He reeked of alcohol at that time and I even suggested that he probably should not be driving because he smelled so heavily of alcohol.  

He and his wife currently owe over $500 for the damage that was done that exceeded his deposit amount, when I asked him for a forwarding address he stated he did not have one and he didnt care if he was going to owe more money.  

As of July 7th there was still personal property in the back yard that had to be removed and stored by the owner.  His mail is being returned unable to forward.  

There were holes in the walls, food in the cabinets, appliances in the back yard with a snow mobile and the house was not clean.  The owner had to do the yard work herself to clean up what they did not complete.  The door that was replaced was brand new and it had dog scrathes all over it and had to have new weather stripping installed.  

I get tired of tenants who do not follow the rulles aor terms of their contracts making it someone else fault and ruining my reputation.  The last tenants who wrote a bad report to this site I had to file a small claims judgement against and was awarded damages in court.  

Simple follow the rules of your contract and there will be no problems.
