RJM HOMES TORTURE, LIE, CHEAT, STEAL, DISRESPECT! Royal Palm Beach Florida

RJM Builders, just the thought of them makes my skin crawl. In the summer of 2006, I stepped off a plane from my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia and into the Royal Palm Beach office of RJM Builders, looking to create something me and my family could live and grow in. I didn't want a house, I wanted a home. You walk into the office and have a lovely elderly woman, Doris, sitting there with her charismatic smile and southern charm. She made me trust her, and I fell in love with the Grand Martinique Model. I wanted it more than I wanted anything else on the face of this earth. This was my home.

So, I signed a contract to build my dream home July 1, 2005 It turned out to be a home from hell. I was told that anything I wanted could be done with my home because they were a Custom Builder. THEY ARE CUSTOM LIARS!!!

I purchased a lot for over $200,000.00 from a realtor that they had provided me and was told that is was the normal for that area of Port St. Lucie, when I've come to find out that the average price for a lot of my size sold for just under $160,000.00. THAT'S A $40,000 LOSS BEFORE THE SLAB WAS POURED! But again, I was promised with a sweet smile and a pat on the back that it would all be worth it for my family so I took the hit and pressed on. If I knew what was to come I would have packed up my sweet behind and headed straight back to Georgia before they even knew my name!

Eight months later, the slab was finally poured at my home. Yes, eight months later and my slab was just being poured. Other builders in the area offer entire homes built in that time! They claimed that permits had been backed up and the home will be built and you will have you Certificate of Occupancy by February 1, 2007 At this rate I was calling the Port St. Lucie office everyday only to get a recording that says During the week, we only take appointments. DID THEY EXPECT ME TO FLY DOWN? They only accept appointments!

So, I called the Royal Palm Beach center, where my calls were ignored, and when somebody did answer, they usually told me, I'm sorry mam I have no knowledge of the Port St. Lucie homes, you'll have to call the offices up there. THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY ANSWERED THE PHONES! I was also called over bearing on the phone, disrespectful, and rude. IF YOU WERE SPENDING ALMOST A OF A MILLION DOLLARS ON A HOME AND IT WAS TAKING OVER TWICE AS LONG, YOU WOULD BE RUDE TOO!

So, again after months and months and months of people lying straight to me over the phone and more sweet promises, my house was promised to be done on December 1, 2007. I HAD SO MANY SWEET PROMISES MY TEETH WERE GONNA ROT OUT!!! Anyways, the final walk through was scheduled for December 15, 2007. WHERE WE FAILED THE INSPECTION! DUE TO ISSUES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED AFTER THE FIRST INSPECTION!!!

After we failed THREE more times, I finally got my C/O January 31, 2008. ALMOST 3 YEARS LATER MY HOUSE FINALLY GOT FINISHED! I AM SO GLAD I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR DREAMS ON THIS COMPANY!!! YOU WILL BE LET DOWN!
