They constantly call and harrass you on the phone.  Sometimes they will call and no one will be on the other line.  Many times you will get multiple calls with no representative responding on the other line.

Very little of your payments go to your principal.  If your late they will charge you daily interest on top of a late fee.  I've been paying on the care since 2005 and my balance went down only $4000.  They refuse to give you a printout of your account.  I tried to go online and very little information is offered.  Your monthly statement "balance owed" figures don't agree with the online "balance owed" figures.  No one can give you a straight answer when you asked about this.

They Are So, So Harsh!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, January 30, 2012

When you signed the contract, they agreed to finance the car for you and you agreed to make payments on time. Now what we have is they kept up their bargain and guess who has failed to keep up their's, Golly, I can't for the life of me figure out why those big bad nasty collectors are calling you. Oh yes, that process of them applying your payment first to interest while the principal stays about the same? Its time you contacted your congressman and while you're at it, why not call the BBB Police? What was that? The reason you are using a subprime lender is because you have a track record of not paying your bills on time and here we are today and you still aren't paying bills when due. Must be because your "credit challenged". Yep...it must be in your DNA and therefore not your fault.

Pay your bills on time

AUTHOR: Tagurit - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, January 29, 2012

1.  Pay your loan on or before the day it is due - not the day after.  Pay on time.

2.  Keep records of every payment made and exactly when it cleared your bank account.

3.  If you don't have a bank account and are sending via Western Union then keep the dated reciepts

4.  If you pay in person keep the dated receipts.

5.  Go to your original loan paperwork and determine the date the loan would be paid off if paid on time

6.  Keep a running total on paper (if you dont' have a computer) - it is YOUR responsibility not theirs to keep records of what you paid, when, and what is still owed.   While they SHOULD do this it is not wise to rely on someone else to do this for you.  Take responsibilty for yourself and your actions.
