Road Trans Pro Inc. Manjeet Doesn't pay for work performed Vancouver, Washington

I was hired by Manjeet as a CDL long haul driver on an Independent Contractor basis. I began working for him on 4/20/12 and was given a load to pick up in Hood River, OR and Wapato, WA to be delivered to San Antonio, TX. I delivered the load on time and then was given a return load to be picked up in Mission, TX and delivered to Walla Walla, WA. I delivered the load to Walla Walla, WA on 4/28/2012 and then drove to Portland to meet Manjeet to give him the paperwork. He then paid me for the trip to San Antonio, TX and told me that the rest of the trip would be paid the following Friday, May 1, 2012. He also told me to call him on Monday to discuss the next trip out. I tried to call him that following Monday and he didn't answer, nor return my call. I then received a call from his "partner" who asked if I had heard from Manjeet as he was unable to contact him as well. I have attempted to contact him several times by phone and text messages. He, at one point, did respond to one text message on Friday, May 1, 2012, stating he was out of town and would deposit the money into my account on Monday, May 7, 2012. After calling several times and text messaging with no response, my wife called his number from her office line and he answered. In that conversation, he stated he was driving and he would have the money deposited into the bank within 2 hours. That was 11:26 a.m. and he never answered his phone after that time and the money was never deposited into my account. He owes me almost $900.00  and it is very disappointing that someone would take food off of my families table and out of children's mouth because they can't uphold their end of the bargain. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN, HE IS VERY DISHONEST AND SHADY!
