Took the wife engagement ring shopping at this location. The rings were gourgeous and the selection was amazing. She fell in love with a ring and we had to get it, the ring was around $8,000. We went with the no interest if ring is paid in full in 12 months. But unfortunately wasnt able to make that happen so balance still remained after the 12 months.
My balance was $4,000 at the end of the stament then got hit with the 24% interest rate. They dont mention the interest rate will occur from the minute you buy the ring. So my balance jumped up to $4,960. U must realize the interest rate is monthly so, if you are able to pay $500 on the ring that month the balance will go down to $4,460. Oh ya now lets do the interest.. The interest will be $1,070 so u add that to the balance which is now $6,030. So u basically just payed $500 in interest.. Do not buy from them unless u are able to pay the balance off in 1 year. So now i get to pull the money out of my 401k so i dont pay over a grand a month in interest... Robbins brothers is the DEVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can probably sue them.
My bet is that they did include that information and you didn't read or comprehend it.
This is common practice in almost all deferred payment plans. The lender gambles you won't pay before the "free" period is up....and many don't.
It's a gotcha, but perfectly legal.
The interest rate is 24%/year, NOT 24%/month.

Accrued interest is in your contract. Read it again. "the interest rate is monthly" No, it's annually.
