Robert Roche ,Bob Roche, Robert Ross Fraud - Pretends to Buy your business and cashes YOUR receivables! Toronto Ontario

Rob Roche aka Bob Roche scammed my comapny out of thousands of dollars.

In 2011 when our industry was going through tough times, we had posted the business for sale online through various brokerage/direct sale websites. Rob Roche and his "partner" Zoran Radisic showed interest.

They were quick to draft up a formal letter of intent; they claimed to have money to purchase the business immediately and were very keen on being involved in a smooth transition. They operated a small time print and finishing business at their Nantucket plant and appeared to have some industry knowledge.

After reviewing many many documents with our lawyer, we entered into a bulk sale with the two parties. On the formal agreement, only Robert Roche's name appeared. He lives at 1503 Bay St. in a condo. One of the conditions Roche listed was to hire him on as a consultant and he would be paid a monthly fee of $6,000. We agreed to that, since he was the buyer and was going to take over. We agreed to pay him only after he started making the monthly payments we agreed to for the buyout.

He made 4 payment in total, each from different bank accounts and business. We found this very odd but did not question it as we were more keen on selling the business; and the money was coming in without being dishonoured by the bank.

His plan to help the business was to cash out on the recievables, leave the company in shambles, and screw over all the creditors. He was eager to be on title for a business that was in good standing with the CRA so that he can use a clean business number to claim HST refunds and scam the government.

Once he stopped paying our monthly buyout amount, we stopped paying his consulting fee. In the last month, he said he will accept a smaller amount as he was in a cash crunch and just needed the money.

At the time of our engagement, we did not do any online research on his name. Boy was that a mistake. He is wanted for fraund in Europe and he has duped many good families our of their businesses in Toronto.

Be aware of this fraudster. He is a theif. He drives a base model VW Jetta (silver) and uses older men for their identities to obtain insurance on the vehicle. Be very careful and don't do ANY business with him.

After all this, in March of 2015, I had a different business listed for sale. Low and behold, Roche contacted me again using the name Robert Ross. His email reads:

"We have owned and managed companies in the past.

We have the financial ability and cash in the bank.

We will  pay the business value but will not pay more than three times EBITDA.

We know the value of similar businesses.

Robert"

I laughed and thought it was time i=I posted a ripoff report.
