Roem Clothing Imposter -- Bonnie Nguyen model scam, Los Angeles Califiornia, Korea, Internet

A person who went by the name "Bonnie Nguyen" contacted me, saying that she works at Roem Clothing and was interested in scheduling a photoshoot with me. I noticed that her email was a Gmail account, and she didn't ask for my portfolio, so I was very skeptical of the offer. Nevertheless, I kept emailing her, thinking maybe they're just a startup, but I received another red flag soon after. When I asked for the address of the photoshoot, she refused to give it to me, saying I wasn't confirmed yet. She said I had to go through a Skype interview before getting the address, and I had to Skype her IMMEDIATELY. 

She used the website of a LEGITIMATE company, but she is in no way related to them. I made sure to confirm by contacting the company directly on the website and via Facebook, and they confirmed that Bonnie is indeed a fraud.

This is the original email she sent me:

I work for Roem clothing in Korea, we are in Los Angeles next months, we are doing a shoot, We are looking for someone that takes good direction with a look that we can aim at a larger target audience, We will hope you are on board for this shoot, So depending how you do we will sign a contract with you to move on to do more shoots for upcoming seasons

You are not confirmed to know the exact location yet, If i may explain about the shoot a little more if you do not fully understand high fashion, you will be doing 4 shoots in total, summer winter autumn spring shoots, as you understand clothing seasonal collections change every 3 months you will be doing a shoot every 3 months, depending on how your first shoot goes, which will be treated as an trial shoot as to why the pay is low at $450 per hour, you will be signed to be a Roam model depending how your first shoot goes, where you will do more, the pay will increase and you will model for clothing lines we are linked with

I will set up a meeting with you and management, we will need to confirm you before doing anything else the reviewer is in hawaii at moment, as the first castings has already been taken place, you will have to give me you skype, if you not have, please create and please get on now management wants the reviewer to confirm you and for you to have a meeting so they can get all paper work straighten out and over to them in the head offices as soon as possible so they can add you onto the modeling listings for this shoot what is you skype? and please do make sure you get onto a laptop when getting on skype
