If you're thinking of building a home with Mark Romanowski or buying a home he recently built, think again.
He has failed to make some necessary warranty repairs on our house, repairs that he said he would do. It's been a year and we've had to begin legal action to convince him to do his job. The PA Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau have been contacted as well.
The workmanship on his homes is inconsistent and often of poor quality. Although he does have some good subcontractors, he mistreats them and shortchanges them. This eventually pisses them off and they stop working for him. That leaves him scrambling at the last minute with poor substitutes. His subcontractor situation is a revolving door! If you're a subcontractor, think twice before you work for him and if you do make sure you get a contract in writing.
He has a nasty temper and is consistently unprofessional to his employees, suppliers and homebuyers.

Builder Satisfied Warranty and Homeowner

Romanowski Homes has completed the warranty work. They have worked very hard to make us happy.
To be honest, our original report was written in the heat of the moment. We were angry with the builder and things got personal. We regret that we cannot remove this post as it will remain a stain on a business that has otherwise proven itself to be dedicated to customer satisfaction.
The bottom line is that they have completed the work. If a homeowner has a problem, we believe they will address it and make things right.

Romanowski Homes is making a valiant effort to remedy all off the issues we have had with the company. The company is in the process of satisfying the warranty and reinstating their good reputation. We are very pleased with the work that is being done and look forward to a mutually respectful ending and restored faith in the company.
