Ron Tonkin Gresham Honda FALSE ADVERTISING: MISSING OPTIONS LISTED ON VEHICLE TROUTDALE Oregon

Purchase a 2011 Kia Optima EX that had listed it had HID headlights, Tech Package - premium sound system.  

After purchasing I discovered driving home and then doing some research that the car has only the standard base sound system (No Tech Package), and also has standard halogen headlamps (Projector style).  

I question this via email to the salesman and he totally ignored my message about the missing options.  After a couple of weeks I decided to take it to the sales manager.  He seemed sincere when I told him about it and showed him a picture on my phone of their add that shows the options.  The next day he calls and basically argued with me that it does have the HID headlights without even seeing the car. I told him his service departement replaced one the headlamps because it only had one headlamp on the way home from the dealership.  The bulb is a H11B.  If you look it up, you will see its just a Halogen bulb.  Not a HID (Xeon) bulb. Then he says it was probably replaced with a halogen.  (Xeon HID uses a 40,000 volt ballast)  Halogen uses 12 volts.  Its impossible to run a Halogen on a HID ballast.  It would instantly blow out.  

Then he admits it doesnt have the Tech package, but says it does have the premium sound.  I did some research and found that the premium sound is a 8 speaker Infinity system with a 530 watt amp and a subwoofer which is only available with the Tech Package.  This car I purchased only has the standard 6 speaker (low quality) sound system.  

Then he says the kbb show no difference in value.   Which may be true, but its still a incentive for someone else to buy the car if I every want to resell it.  But most important, I wanted a car with a really nice sound system and better night time driving headlamps since I have trouble seeing driving at night now.  

This is 100% false advertising and in my opinion, FRAUD.  I asked him how would he like it he went and purchased a 1080p Hi Def TV and got home to find out its only a 720P Hi Def.  He didnt say anything.

I WILL NEVER do business with any RON TONKIN dealerships from now on, and will let everyone I can know to beware of there dishonest business practice.
