Ronald John Mason of 283 Vincent Street Leederville advertised for sale Jarrah floorboards in the Quokka over the Christmas/New Year break of 2010/11.  I contacted him to buy some boards and he gave some story of recently having a heart attack and being on his last legs.  He went the sympathy vote.  He acknowledged he didnt have the timber i needed on site so he said he would deliver them from his storage yard within a week.  I transferred the funds to him as i felt a bit sorry for the old guy.

One week went past and he was not returning my calls. two and half weeks later i finally confronted the elusive Mr Mason to find out where my timber was.  Another story of being in hospital and on his last legs. he promised to deliver the timber the next day.  he contacted me to say his vehicle had broken down and asked that i collect him and take him to the Bassendean yard where the timber is. at this stage getting a little suspicious so before hiring a trailer (as he had no means of transporting the timber) i asked that we go and have a look.

the timber was the wrong size and was basically in a condition that would have been great for firewood.  i returned him home and told him i would contact him shortly about what to do as he offered to source the timber for me.  Within 30 minutes i had the timber from elsewhere and delivered that day.

After contacting Ron the Con to have my money returned, he told me i wasn't getting it as its a case of "buyer beware" and i needed to take him to court.  He accused me of being threatening simply by asking for the return of my cash.  he is off the planet.

No one should deal with this parasite on society. I will issue a summons, and I will get my money back at any cost.  It is a costly process, but i dont care, its now personal!  I will update as we go along this merry journey.
