Ron's was first hired to access the condition of a built in refrigerator on my travel trailer.  I had been told by another repair facility the the cooling unit needed to be replaced for about $900.  He looked at the unit and stated that it just needed some minor repair which he billed over 350.00 for.  I was working out of state and was not there to verify the repair.  I was elated he was able to fix the unit.  I then had him look at the AC unit.  He charged 350.00, again stating that minor repair was the only thing required.  Bottom line, neither worked and then he stated that both just needed to be replaced.  If replacement was necessary, why did he fake repair for over 700.00?  To replace, he arbitraily quoted a price of 1000 each.  As a result of his overcharging and fraudulant repairs, I lost $4000 when I sold the unit "as is".  What a disappointment.  You used to be able to trust a man's word in East TN.    That is obviously not the case with this crook.

Don fails to tell all

AUTHOR: Rons RV - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 20, 2013

Don fails to report that his father came over to his travel trailer when the refridgerator was repaired and verified that it was indeed working. The later and ultimate failure of the unit was when the ammonia leaked out from rusting tubes, as for the AC it also worked when repaired but once again he fails to disclose that he tried to keep a tarp over the roof to stop the water from leaking in where the rubber was torn and allowed the water to run into the AC electronics after a few bad storms we had. But then he would not know that as he was 1400 miles away. The repairs where made and I have the old parts, now as for selling "as is" Don knew the roof was bad as he had me inspect it and said he didn't want to fix it which means he sold someone a Travel Trailer with a rotten roof which had rotted the header above the slide room so now who is the crook here? It was told to me by his father that he never even used the trailer as he had gotten transfered to TX before he even seen it, he bought a pig in a poke and now wants to blame others for his failures. I can provide a list of very satisfied customers Don can you?
