We used this company to book our rooms for a trade show that was to be held at the end of the year. We booked in March and he offered a great savings. We felt comfortable with our choice because at the time of service Blake was professional and helpful. We signed the contracts and gave our deposited. The remaining balance was not to be charged until October. In June we had a 678.00 charge come through on the company credit card so I reached out to him via email and voicemail simply to inquire about the charge. After several days of no response and no return call I reached out again, but was unable to get a response. In the meantime other companies reached out to me asking if we were interested in booking hotel rooms with them. Originally I told them no letting them know we had already booked through Room Connections LLC. One company warned me that Room Connections was a scam and that they have been red flagged. This made me concerned so I google searched the company. Sure enough there were several reports of customers having been burned by this same Room Connections LLC. They even spoke about how Blake the "CEO" had become hostile on the phone while using profanity. This type of behavior concerned me as at this point I was still waiting for an explanation as to why our cards had been charged the 678.00, which was not the amount listed in the contract.

After a few days past I did receive a phone call from Blake he left a message that explained that he was out of the country and would explain the 678.00 charges to the card through email. I waited for an email but received nothing, so I called him. That is when I was bombarded with a hostile and very unprofessional response. He began to yell at me and talk over me. He said that he was canceling our reservations and never to call his company again. What a way to do business. I know that the other complaints are true because they described this very same type of behavior. There is even a complaint on this site where he comments saying it was not him and it must be another company pretending to be Room Connections. Those customers experience was exactly like mine, they described his belligerent behavior and how he canceled their rooms unexpectedly. Please do not be fooled by this man, he is not a professional and is not anyone you want to give your credit card information over to. We will be disputing the charges with our credit card company for both the deposit and the random 678.00 charge made on our card.
